GENERAL POV

millie walks up to grab the mic.. it's
her turn. she takes a deep breath and looks at finn as the music starts

       Somebody said you got a new friend..

she pauses and looks at sadie

     But does she love you better than i can?.. theirs a big black sky over my town..i know where             youre at i bet she around...

millie closes her eyes to let the music take her away

finn and sadie look at eachother and mouths at her to go outside. she nods and heads to the door with finn right behind her. millie opens her eyes and wants to run outside and stop whatever theyre doing . But she doesnt have the right... this she knows..

        I'm just ganna dance all night And I'm all messed up, I'm so out of line, yeah
        Stilettos and broken bottles  I'm spinning around in circles  ....

"you were saying?"finn says as he takes a step closer to sadie so he can hold both her hands

"i was saying..." she says as she pulls his arms to wrap around her waist and wraps her own around his neck .. their faces now closer then ever.... millie still watching...

        So far away but still so near ...

"i think its time i worry about me.. and who makes me happy . who better then you?"

finn leans in making their forheads touch. both smiling like crazy.. finally connecting their lips

she sees this.. shes ready to burst into tears... but she knows...

          The lights come up, the music die but you dont see me , standing here...

millie opens her eyes once more and a single tear escapes her eye . she quickly wipes it away making sure nobody saw it. she knows she cant face them.. not today so she tells Noah she has to leave "i promised Ava we'd watch a movie together"

"ok thats fine.. but by the way.. you were amazing"

"thanks" she says as she quickly makes her way to the door not wanting to speak to anyone else ..

as soon as she steps out she cant control the tears that are runing down her face..

she hears his voice .. but she cant face him.. not now... she looks at sadie but neither of them says anything.. finn wants to say something but just doesnt know what.. he starts to walk up to her but she quickly turned around and ran home...she just kept thinking about how she knows... how she knows that she has no right....
