~Kaede POV~
I honestly felt bad for yelling at Eric, I mean he was just trying to help me, but instead I yelled at him and pushed him away from me. He'll most likely bully me for it. My life is completely going to shit. And what's worse is that Aroon hasn't messaged me all day sense from his morning!! "Maybe I had said something rude to him?! Or did something happen to him?!" Thoughts swirled around my head.
"Of course not dummy, he got bored of you, he only used you for entertainment." A voice spun in my head.
"Get out of my head!" I whispered to myself putting on my headphones to ignore the world. School was finally over, I didn't have to deal with people anymore, but I was still worried about Aroon, he always messaged me during school hours but also when I walked home. I seriously did something, didn't I? I walked outside the gate only to see Kyle and a few other soft ball players leaning up against the fence. Kyle looked up seeing me, breaking into a grin, only a grin you would see on a killer. Someone you would need to stay away from.
"Pay back freak." Kyle said as he took steps towards me. I took a step backwards as he reached his hand towards my neck.
"N-no." I thought to myself. I spun around then broke out in a run. "I need to get away." I ran as if my life depended on it, I mean my life did depend on it. I turned the corner only to see none other than Eric running towards me. I ran in the middle of the street.
"Wait Kaede!" I heard Eric call after me. I looked back as he watched Kyle and the others chase me. There was something scary and raging in his eyes. I looked back in front of me and got to the other side of the street and turned to the left. I was making a distance between me and Kyle. They were slow for softball players, no wonder why we have never won a game before... I turned right and ran thru an alleyway tuning right once more.
"Shit!" I yelled as I ran into a dead end.
"No. Where. To. Run." Kyle said as he bent over to catch his breath. I backed up to the wall. Maybe I could run past them, I doubt it though... "Damn it, what am I going to do?" I looked around and up at the wall. I felt something painful hit my cheek, forcing my head to hit the solid rock wall. I slid down the hard, rough wall blocking my face with my arms as they all surrounded me. One kicking me in my ribs, I gasped for air as they all attacked me at once.
"Stop it!" I screamed on the top of my lungs.
"Kaede!" A voice yelled. I peeked thru a small gap between my arms. My eyes widen as I saw Eric grabbing Kyle shoulder and punching him in the stomach. Kyle fell to his knees and a few more guys ran at Eric while on more stayed. He lifted me by neck just like how Kyle did earlier.
"Kaede!" Eric yelled. His voice sounded panicked but agitated with hate intertwined in it. The guy punched me in the stomach, over and over again. I couldn't breathe as I clawed at his hands. Eric grabbed the guy holding me up and punched him in the right cheek, letting me go as I slid back down to the floor. "Let's go." Eric said as he picked me up bridal style.
"Warm." I thought to myself as my head leaned up against his chest closing my eyes. When I opened my eyes, I was greeted by a blinding white ceiling. I groaned holding my stomach.
"Don't move, it'll hurt more." A voice said pushing my shoulders back onto the bed. "I'll be right back, I'm gonna get the nurse." I heard their footstep fade, I heard people crying, others yelling.
"Hello? Sir, can you hear me?" A woman asked appearing in my vision.
"Wh-where am I?" I asked slowly sitting up.
"Wait, hold on." The other voice said supporting me.
"Thanks." I said leaning up against the head of the bed.
