What He Saw

It only took a few minutes to get home, and I dreaded every second of it. I didn't know what would happen, but when my step dad parked, I realized Eric had arrived at his the same time. My eyes had locked with his, until my stepfather in between our staring contest.

"Get off your ass." He said grabbing my arm and dragging me out of the car.

"S-s-sorry." I stuttered. I was scared, I didn't want to enter the house. I had no idea what awaited me, and I didn't want to find out... I quickly got up to my feet, yanking my arm from his grip and running into the house.

"Get your ass right here you fag!" I heard my stepfather yell on the top of his lungs.

"Great, just yell any louder and the whole neighborhood will hear you." I thought to myself locking my door. "Where are Jun and Hide?!" I thought to myself.

My stepfather began to pound on my door.

"DO YOU KNOW HOW MUCH THAT MEDICAL BILL IS GOING TO COST US!" He yelled. I heard my door snapping at the hinges. It wasn't going to hold him back any longer... But then, everything stop, all noise was silent. My door that was cracked by the hinges was still standing. He must have finally passed out, when he came to get my at the hospital, he reeked of alcohol, I honestly hope he dies of alcohol poisoning... I know how bad that sounds, but my life would be so much better without him. I turned around to open my window only to find something even worse. He saw everything! Eric was watching the whole time!

"Wh-what do I do?!" I thought to myself panicking. I rushed over to my window curtains and closed them. I opened my door, to find both of my brothers looking at the collapsed body in front of my door.

"BROTHER!" Jun cried. He was only 5 and Hide was 7. Luckily mother still loved them and gave them attention. But they still have to live with thus bastard. But sense mother still gave them her attention, he leaves them alone.

"It's okay." I said walking over the lazy ass excuse called a step father and hugged my brothers.

"A-are you okay?" Jun asked crying.

"Yes, I'm okay." I forced a smiled.

"Stop crying, crying doesn't solve anything." Hide said as tears slowly rolled down his cheek.

"It's okay. I'll make sure you guys never get hurt, I promise you." I said hugging both them.

"Promise?" Jun's tears began to stop.

"Pinky promise?" Hide and Jun both held out they're small pinky's toward me.

"Pinky promise." I chuckled wrapping both my pinky fingers around theirs. "Nothing will ever harm you." My phone began to chime as unending notifications appeared.

"Who's that?" Hide smiled.

"It's no one, now go do your homework." I smiled as they ran off. I walked over the body once more, hearing him groan as I stepped on his head then locking my door once more. "Aroon." I thought to myself reading the notifications.

Him: Why aren't you answering me?!

Him: WHY AREN'T YOU ANSWERING ME!?!?!
