"Don't worry about coming to NM1," I told Nick after class

"Don't put yourself through the suffering of Jae," I sighed

"Seriously are you sure?" he questioned

"Don't worry about it I'll get this whole thing over and done with," I said waving him goodbye

I walk into NM1 tiredly surprisingly the only people there were Dowoon and Wonpil, I awkwardly stood around for a couple seconds.

"You can sing," Wonpil said

"What?"

"At Veronica's party, you sang," Dowoon added

"I mean everyone can sing," I said fiddling around with my guitar strings

"You know how to play You Were Beautiful," Wonpil said

"Yeah," I said quietly

Immidiently Dowoon and Wonpil started playing the beat instinctively I began also playing the beat

"The things I'm about to tell you aren't so you

Change what's already on your mind

It's just that I keep thinking 'bout all the melodies

You made asleep at night," I sang

Wonpil nodded in approval

"Every time I got out of bed to (oh no)

Start my day that's when I'd hear you

And With a tired yawn

You'd tell me that you loved me I'll be fine

And that's what got me through the day alright,'

The beat escalated and Wonpil and I sang the chorus together

Jae's POV

What's that?

Is that our song

I peek into NM1 to find Shay and Wonpil singing, look at her so smug that she's taken over my role, that attitude has seemed to win over Dowoon and Wonpil psshh they are too easy to win over. Shay isn't that bad weirdly, her voice is deep but it suits her, I wonder why she hides her talent, I mean not that I care or anything. I run inside and plug in my electric guitar into the second amp and play alongside, Shay smirks as she began to play a more complex riff, I continue with playing an even more complex riff.

"Beautiful
Just the way that you would look at me
Was so much I'd never wanna leave
I I
Keep trying to forget how you were

Beautiful
Just the way that you were calling my name
But without you it won't be the same
I I
Keep trying to forget but you were beautiful,"

It was as if our voices melted together like sweet and sour, no shouting, not arguing just pure music. For just a few seconds things were electric and I don't mean our guitars.

Shay's POV

"When since could you play decent music," Jae muttered

"Woah do I sense a compliment," I said sarcastically

"Wow you just have to be sarcastic over a compliment," Jae complained

I poked my tongue at him

"They're not fighting," Dowoon whispered

I rolled my eyes at Dowoon's comment
