"How?" I heard the soft voice behind me Tony was standing firm, arms across his chest and pouty face on.
"I stole your card from your wallet and made Clint come along with me, it's my fault." Did I just take the blame? Weird.
"Snap shut up. I took your card from your wallet and made her come along." Clint stepped in front of me, protecting me. Protection from someone I barely knew. I was dumbfounded.
"That's not what I meant, I meant how can you play like that?" I stood up and placed the trombone back to its former place.
"I told you, I was taught." There was a group gathering around us my ears twitched.
So many new noises and smells. People shuffling there feet, murmurs going around. Colognes, perfumes, deodorants filled my nostrils. I tapped my left hand lightly against my thigh. My mind immediately went through all the escape routes.
"Grace," my eyes crawled back to Tony's, "let's buy some instruments."

We left without a single bag in our hands. Everything was being delivered. Tony walked us over to his massive black SUV and gestured for us to go in.
"Thank you Tony. I'll find a way to repay you." Tony grabbed the bridge of his nose.
"That's not how things work furball." I curled my lip at his nickname.
"So since we are out shopping, without my permission." He added under his breath.
"Let's get some stuff for your room. And by get I mean write it down and have someone else get it."
I nodded in agreement. They said I got to decorate it however I wanted. I didn't want or need an over the top room. I like my dirt and river.
"What is your favorite color?" Tony asked his phone gadget thing was out.
"I like blue, but dark dark blue. Midnight blue." He nodded and wrote down some quick things.
"What type of bed do you want?" I looked at him puzzled and he looked back puzzled.
"I have a bed."
"Dirt is not a bed." I looked over at Clint. Who just shrugged and looked out the window. So so helpful.
"It is to a wolf." He just grunted and write something down.
"Gold or silver?" He didn't even look up this time.
"Silver."
"Do you like blankets?" My mind immediately went back to the harsh scratchy wool blankets they would give us in the winter.
"What type?" I replied
"Ya know soft fluffy ones."
"Yes!" I blurted it out
Clint and Tony slowly turned there heads to face me. My outburst surprised them... my cheeks heated up and I started to play with the tips of my hair.
Good job idiot. Now they think you are weird...weirder.
