Sam woke up with a massive headache and pain in his stomach. This might be the worst hangover he ever got he thought to himself as his alarm was blasting in his ears, indicating that it's time to get up. His alarm was the sound of some girl that he hooked up with moaning and calling out his name.It was music to his ears and he thought it was a nice way to start his mornings off.
"Samuel James Clarke if you don't turn off that god awful alarm of yours and get down here this instant so god help me." Sam's mom shouted from downstairs.
He groaned and tried getting out of bed but he could barely stand up. He was feeling dizzy and began seeing flashes of the snow falling outside his bedroom window.
Snow?....it's fucking 92 degrees outside. How the hell is it snowing outside?
He rubbed his eyes and blinked some more but everything seemed normal. "Must be the hangover" he thought.
Sam went into the bathroom to get ready for school. After taking a shower, he decided to go for his typical bad boy outfit. White t-shirt, black leather jacket, black ripped jeans and boots. Hair still wet so it's decided to let it dry on its own.
He looked at himself in the mirror and checked himself out. His eyes zoned in on the untouched chain staring at him, begging to be worn. His heart was being torn in half, conflicting with itself. Deciding between wearing it and throwing it away, he just left it where it was and went downstairs. Sam received that gift from someone he really cared about but he couldn't bring himself to even look at the chain. It hurts too bad.
He walked in on his mother dancing around while making eggs and pancakes. She always does this whenever she was happy.
His mother is the definition of beauty. She had long flowing locks of auburn hair tied up in a messy bun with clean skin and a smile that could put the sun on freeze. But lately her smile didn't reach her eyes and it tears him apart to see her like that. She has lost so much in her life but to see her happy is enough for him.
She hasn't noticed him yet, so Sam decided to lean against the wall and watch her sing and dance to Dion- runaround sue. It was one of her favorite songs.
She was having a good time until she turned around and was met with Sam's boyish smile and phone in hand. The red blush on her cheeks was enough to tell him that she was embarrased.
"Were you really recording me samuel?" She playfully glared at him.
Trying to supress his laughter, he failed tremendously and his laugh boomed in the kitchen. With a bright red face, Stephanie bit her lip to prevent herself from smiling while giving him "that look."
"Ok since it's so funny I guess you don't need my handmade pancakes topped with whipcream and eggs." She turned around and began to put the pancakes back.
"No." Sam's laughter died down and he quickly sat down like an obedient child who was waiting for santa to bring his gifts.
Sam thought his mom's pancakes are the best thing since oreos and milk. They are Godly.
It wouldn't be a surprise because she is an angel in disguise. His mother has done so much for him, that Sam couldn't be more thankful for her. At one point she played mother and father for him and his sister.
She works as a movie director so sometimes she is barely at home, which means party and sex for Sam 24/7.
He doesn't think of himself as a fuck boy. He just prefers to use the term "a bedroom magician who doesn't need an assistant."
Relationships comes with trust and promises and those are the two things that Sam have given up on years ago after going through a heartbreaking experience along with his mother.
His dad left for his mistress and took his 7 year old sister and it devastated his mom. She hasn't been the same and sometimes Sam wish he could do something to comfort her but this isn't something that mere words can cure.
"So how was it?"
He was snapped out of his thoughts when his mom stood infront of him sipping on her coffee.
"How was what?" Sam attempted to put the heaven sent breakfast into his mouth.
"The party. You know, the party that is trending on social media right now." She pulled out her phone and sure enough there were footage of the party on almost every social media.
Sam internally face palmed himself and watch as his mom glared at him, waiting to hear what excuse he could possibly use to get out of this one.
Just one problem though.
He don't have any.
And it was at this moment Sam knew.....he fucked up.
