Destiny woke up with a massive headache and pain in her abdomen. God she hated when she is on her period. It makes her have an evil agenda against the entire world even though she doesn't even know most of England much less the entire world.
Her alarm clock was going off and she tried to lazily reached out to shut it off when she rolled over and fell off the bed onto her face.
Great way to start the day Destiny thought. Just great.
She was tired from staying up all night studying (and by studying, she meant studying how much episodes of stranger things she could watch before falling asleep), she's on her period and now she has a bruise on her forehead. God she hated life right now.
She stood up and looked outside and watched the sunlight shine as bright as it ever did. She felt the heat touch her skin and it felt like she was going to get a tan. She closed her eyes, took a deep breath and opened them only to be met with snow and winds that are as cold as hidan's heart.
P.S. She loves watching naruto. Who doesn't
She blinked once again but everything returned back to normal. She though her period must be messing up her brain a little bit.
She sighed as she ran her fingers through her tangled hair.
Her stomach began to growl as it telling her that it's time to eat breakfast. She went to pick up her glasses off her nighstand when a sudden scent slapped her hard.
It made her mouth water and she immediately went downstairs to where the scent was getting stronger.
It smelled like pancakes and....eggs?
A smile made its way upon her lips as she thought about who could be making this sweet auroma. She only thought of one person.
"Mom?" Destiny appeared in front of an empty kitchen.
Realization hit her like a ton of bricks as she laughed to herself for being so stupid and naive. Tears threatened to spill from her eyes but she fought them back. She was alone and she needed to accept that fact.
Pulling herself together she went upstairs to shower and get dressed for school.
After cleaning herself up, she decided to wear her typical attire of oversized sweater, sweats and chucks. She looked at herself in the mirror and what stared at her back was a beautiful creature who is fragile and on the verge of breaking.
She wondered if she should wear contacts today or go for her big rimmed glasses. The choice was already obvious as she picked up the glasses that she normally uses to hide from the crowd.
Destiny was always antisocial and never one to make friends and be outspoken.
She wasn't before the major incident that changed her life and she sure isn't after everything happened.
She just shrugged the thoughts off and went to get a bowl of her favorite cereal Fruity pepples. As she sat down and went into a feeling of bliss as sweet sugary goodness melts into her mouth, she checks the time on her phone and her eyes widened.
School starts at 8:25 and it's now 8:00.
She quickly downed the cereal, choking a little, before grabbing her jacket and backpack. The walk to school was a good 20 mins and she could take the bus but she enjoyed walking. It helps to clear her mind off of stuff.
As she reaches the front gate of the school, Destiny notices that all eyes were on her. Everybody stopped what they were doing and would even send her looks of pity, kindness and even resentment as she looks at her feet before hurrying inside. She wondered how people could manage to be outside when it's freezing cold outside and school begins in 5 mins.
As she stood outside the doors of the school, she can already tell what awaits her inside and she was not ready to deal with it.
With one big sigh, she opened the doors and walked down the hallways.
