No sugar Coating

Naked truth is all I want
No matter how bitter it is
I better eat it bitter, yes
Bitter but naked rather
Rather than sweet but coated

Tell me u can forgive not
Don't pretend you have forgiven
Come clean and tell me you can't
I will find a heart to understand
Yes understand why you can't

Why say my heart you won't break
Only to come with mattock and hammer
Breaking it into smaller pieces
Pieces microscopic to collect and join
Why did you promise heaven on this earth

You said am your sun to your moon
Your antidote and your cure you said
Your sickness and medicine you added
Living without me not was your climax
So sweet but now very bitter to swallow

Do not sugar coat things, just be open
Speak of the reality and the fact
Not of heaven you know of not
Not of an angel sent from heaven above
Calling me sweet impossible names..
