I remember our first date
So sweet and vivid
I remember your first touch
So soft, caring and memorable
I still remember your first kiss
So breathtaking and luring
But now all this memory is fading
I gave you my all
My heart mind and soul
I made you my world
A world that I enjoyed
Yes enjoyed living in
But now look, watch how
How void, deserted and unreal it is
Joy is my portion no more
Love is a vocabulary in me not
Tears have become my cup of tea
A cup I can't do without
A cup so bitter to drink from
A cup full of regret and pain
Why, why did I fall for empty promises
He promised me heaven on earth
Yes life full of love coated with sweetness
Being there for me always he uttered
Never to depart no matter what may
Emphasizing on standing with me always
But all this was a trick to win
Yes to win my heart and waste
But now I choose to wait
Yes wait in Silent
For in it I might find solace
