Why am I silent, you ask?
Am silent counting my fake friends
Yes those who pretend with me always
Am silent addressing the heaven
For even if i speak you will help not
Am silent counting the years i have wasted
Wasted in the name of empty promises
Am silent for the pain I bear you cant hold
Pain so deep leaving me fragile and low
Am silent for i know my redeemer lives
Even in this silent He will rise and rescue
Am silent because i don't wanna open my well
For through speaking tears will roll then drop
Am silent because its worth
Do you still wanna know why am silent?
Am silent because am trying to find me
For i am lost in the fake friendship i got
Am silent because i wanna live a life
A life i am meant to live
Am silent because when i talked you ignored
Pretending you didn't hear me at all
Do you now get why am silent
It seems you haven't gotten it yet
Am silent because you took me for granted
Even after giving you my all
Like a paper tossed by the wind u made me
Am silent because in my silence am safe
Why should i talk then you talk
Am silent because i am tired by your pretence
