So caring above all
For you loved me when I was worthless
When I was dirty and stinking
When I had lost all my value
When all I knew was sin
For the sinful nature was much
Nothing good would come out of me
For the world resided in me fully
You came and nursed my wounds
Restoring my lost hope and worth
Bringing the newness of the old me
A sign that your love has no boundary
And your grace sufficient always
Your joy became my strength
Making me feel so sweet to trust in you
For you are my safe refuge
My rock and my salvation
You are the founder of my faith
My redemption song above all
My protector and my provider
The director of my steps
The light unto my feet
Reigning even in my darkest hour
In power and Majesty
Making me emerge victorious
You are the strong pillar that holds my life
Your promises Yes and Amen
You will never leave nor forsake me
You will be with me in high rolling tides
For when temptations come my way
You will make me prevail
For like a tree planted beside still waters I am
I will whether not, I will bear fruits in my season
Knowing this leaves me speechless
