Chapter Five

{ Teddy's POV }

So Zayn dropped me off about 2 hours ago and my mother hasn't stopped questioning me about last night. Does she not get that I just want sleep and that we can talk later?

"Teddy I need you to tell me what happened. Did that boy from the phone take advantage of you because if he did he will be going through hell and back!"

"Oh my gosh mother no! Zayn did not take advantage of me," I groan. "He took care of me. I accused him of the same thing but I turned out being wrong. Zayn is sweet and I see now how big his heart is. He could have left me alone during the party and let some boy take advantage of me but he didn't. He took care of me and made sure nothing happened to me." Not to mention I was at his place and in his clothes this morning but she did not need to know that.

"Will I ever get to meet this Zayn boy?"

"He has his own life that doesn't revolve around a teenage girl. There is no need to meet him." I sigh and flop down onto the couch.

"Of course there is! He took good care of my baby while she couldn't take care of herself. You should snatch him before it's to late. There aren't many boys like that around anymore." I can't help but roll my eyes. Doesn't she know that I already know that? I've dated my fair share of boys and none of them were as nice and charming as Zayn.

"You're not going to leave me alone until you meet him are you?" I question glancing over at her.

"Nope." She says popping the 'p' and smiling. I swear she forgets that she's 44.

"Fine I'll ask Louis and see what they're doing. Do you want to meet all my friends or just Zayn?"

"All of them is fine. Go ahead shoot him a text or a call or whatever it is you're going to do. I'm going to make something to eat so invite them for an early dinner. Chicken or steak?" She questions rushing over to the kitchen to grab her apron.

I really didn't want to have to sit through dinner with my mother and my friends. I'm not even sure she'd approve of them. All of them, excluding Niall, have tattoos.

"Chicken with green beans, mashed potatoes and mac & cheese." I answer her. We can have my favorite meal since it's my company.

"Okay and for dessert?"

"Do whatever you want for dessert just as long as it isn't cake." Mother looks at me funny and walks out of the room. I shoot Louis a text inviting everyone to dinner. Well, everyone who can make it. Finally I can get some sleep!

I hear the door bell ring but I make no attempt to go down stairs and see who it is. It's probably a neighbor saying 'welcome to the neighborhood!' No one from school but Zayn knows where I live and I'm pretty sure it's not him.

"Teddy come here for a minute please." I groan and slide off my bed and into the floor. I crawl over to my door and use the frame to lift myself up. Why can't I have a nap before my friends show up for dinner? Oh yeah the universe freaking hates me!

"What is it now? Can't I have a nap before Louis and them get here?" I ask as I get to the top of the stairs. I look down and see my mother smiling the biggest grin. Why is she so happy?

"Looks like one of your friends from school decided to drop by." I take my eyes off my mother and over to the person standing next to her.

What in the hell is he doing here?

"Brandon what the hell are you doing here? Mom he isn't a friend of mine and I don't want to see him. He is a total dick to everyone, including me!"
