Nikki's POV: Jesus fucking christ I've been scavenging all day and nothing. No heroin, cocaine, nothing. God, withdrawl's coming in fast. I'm sweating my ass off right now And have horrendous stomach cramps but Gene looks fine. I don't understand why the guys wouldn't let me go out on my own. I don't need a babysitter! I'm a grown man! Yes Gene and I were partners in this for a while. And he did save my ass after an overdose that one time. And he helps me find my way back when I'm too high to do so myself. But that doesn't mean he has to watch over me 24/7! If things keep going this way I won't be high and won't get lost, so I don't need a tour guide.

"God there's gotta be something out here somewhere." I said, scratching my arms like crazy. Fucking bugs crawling under and on top of my skin. Both hallucinatory and real. You have fun figuring out which is which.

"Sixx, maybe going a while without doping up can be good for you." Gene said, "You've used so often that your body is so fucked up. Track marks everywhere, making stupid decisions, you're a wreck. I mean, look at me. I've never touched that shit in my life, and I'm fine." He held his arms out to the side.

"Yes but you're addicted to seducing groupies and fucking them. Even kept a book with pictures of every single one of them before this. Same addiction, different substance." I said.

"At least mine won't kill me soon." He mumbled.

"Yeah but maybe I will so you better hope I find some fucking dope man!" I yelled, holding a knife out.

"Alright Sixx, calm down." Gene said, hands up, "You're just going through withdrawl and are a little nutty cuckoo. Put the knife down and let's go." I calmed down and kept walking. I tend to lose it a little when I go through withdrawl. Ok, more like I lose it a lot. But I can't function without my heroin. I need it, or something.

Blackie's POV: When I saw Sebastian, I whistled to grab his attention. Once he saw me, I signaled for him and the other five to come over.

"Ok," I started, "Joan is showing some red flags. Tom says he caught her talking to him and she wasn't mad at him."

"She seemed too calm to not be able to stand the guy's guts as she claims." Tom interjected.

"What do you suggest we do?" Paul asked.

"We keep a sharp eye on her." I explained, "Anyone sees her showing any signs of affection towards Negan or any signs of her turning, you alert the others. Axl's group is keeping an eye on her too. Anything suspicious and she goes. Sound ok?"

"I'm all for it." Tom said.

"Me too." Sebastian agreed. We all agreed on the plan and the guys disbanded. I kept Tom with me however.

"Listen," I quietly said, "We've gotta take him out. We'll go grab Maggie, bring her back here, and the three of us will kill him. But we gotta make sure his body gets out of here without a trace. We don't need Rick catching us and I sure as hell don't wanna bury him in the same place as a saint like Jeff. Then we wait for Joan's reaction to realizing he's gone. She gets pissed, she's gone. She rejoices, she stays. Sound good?"

"Absolutely. Wanna do this now?" Tom asked.

"If you want to. I want him gone." I said. Tom nodded and we both left Alexandria for the Hilltop. For some reason though, I felt like we weren't alone during that discussion...
