Backstabbers; new word for sisters

•CHRIS' POV•
When Alana left I went up to my room and started watching television. If she only knew.
I guess I will be healed tomorrow but I'm still going to have to act like I'm still hurt so she won't notice that I might be inhuman.
I am the lone wolf so to say. I don't want to be in a pack where you always have to share and there are always positions and they are never right. I was an omega but back to last year when I was an idiot and thought that I couldn't be anything else. The pack treated me like I was garbage. Not to mention the stuff they got me into but didn't get me out of.
I remember when Nicole told the pack about how strong Alana was and that they needed her in the pack. Since Nicole knew Alana for most of Alana's life it was easy for Nicole to find out if Alana was a contestant for the pack. Which she obviously was a huge one. Alana has a strong heart and also she sticks up for not only herself but for her family too. If she were part of the pack, it would be her new family.
Then the main reason why I left the Sangre pack because they wanted me to pick them over my family. They wanted Abigail and I wouldn't let them. No one has respect for the omega of the pack so they got her.
The Sangre pack doesn't bite like normal packs. Since James, the Sangre Alpha and Nicole's boyfriend, is one of the most powerful alpha's in the packs I know. James manipulates your mind into seeing, hearing, and smelling stuff you shouldn't be able to smell. That's when he gets in your mind and makes you transform. James leads you to the pack then gets out of your head. He knows your very emotion until he gets out of your head and all of your past. All werewolves have some kind of advantage on their side. Mine is how fast I run and heal. Nicole's is her howl because any werewolf can hear it as long as they are less than 50 miles away. I don't know what Alana's will be but I bet her advantage will be one strong advantage.
Sangre means blood in Spanish and they expect you to be blood brothers and sisters. It's dumb and confusing but that is the only way I can explain it.
I know what James' extensions are with Alana. He wants to see who is stronger for the beta position, Nicole or Alana? I know Alana will win because of how powerful she is but the thing is I don't want her to win.
James is getting closer and closer to her every time she goes to sleep. I remember when he did that to me and I was all alone. At least Alana has me I guess but I can't exactly come out and say that werewolves are real and Alphas want her in their pack.
Bad thing is I'm starting to like her, a lot. She just has something about her that I really like about her.
Somehow I have to stop James. I have break the connection. I still don't know how he gets the connection. James just can't pop into somebody's mind and start manipulating them. If he could the Sangre pack would be the best pack on the planet because he would know his enemies weaknesses and build on them.
I take out my phone and text my best friend, Carter.
To Carter:
Get up and get over to my house to help me get my cast off.

Carter knew I was a werewolf but he has never saw me fully transformed (Same with all of my immediate family except Jeffery because he is a loud mouth). In the transforming there are 4 stages. The first stage is where your eyes change. The color of your eyes depends on what your position is in the pack. Since I am a lone wolf my eyes are white. White symbolizes the emptiness of the wolf. Before when I was in the Sangre pack I had red eyes. Red eyes symbolize the anger deep within the wolf's heart. Most alphas have blue eyes symbolizing their royalty. James has blue eyes but he doesn't deserve them. Beta's have purple eyes symbolizing royalty but having a hunger to be the best. The rest of the pack that isn't in a role usually has plain black eyes which don't symbolize anything. The color of your eyes is like not getting or getting a medal in the Olympics.
The second stage is when your nails form into longer pointed brown nails. You can kind of tell if your eyes change but you can surely tell if your nails change. The werewolf nails dig into the sides of your real nails making them hurt.
Stage 3 has different things happening at the same time. One if the events is when your wolf teeth grow in front of your regular teeth. Another one is your nose grows a little. The another event is when thin hair starts growing throughout your body. This stage also contains where you get irregular strength and inhuman speed. The third stage is where most stop if not on a full moon.
The fourth stage is where you go all out wolf. Think hair grows throughout your body fast, your ears grow longer and pointed, your fingers become toes, your tailbone grows into a tail, and you are down on all four legs.
I have gone fully transformed only once and that was when I left the pack. Abigail was going to leave but she isn't strong enough and isn't brave enough.
I hear someone coming to the door and is assume it's Carter.
When I hear my mom yell I know it's not Carter. I jump down from off my bed and walk down stairs with my cast still on. I hobble into the living room and can't believe who I see in my house. Standing up in the center of my living room I see an angry faced Alpha staring at me.

James came at me grabbing my shirt jamming my body against the wall. I hear my mom call for Abigail while running upstairs to get Jeffery. I laugh as I look into James' blue eyes and feel his nails digging into my chest.
I feel my eyes changing into a cold white and my nails growing. Time and time again when your nails grow it doesn't effect you. I hold back my anger trying not to go to stage three.
"What the hell are you doing in my house?" I hiss through my teeth.
"Stay away from Alana or else." He said keeping a straight face.
"Or else what?" I spat at him.
"This." he said throwing me out the door into my front lawn.
When I mean throwing me I mean throwing me like a baseball about six feet high off the ground. I hit the ground hard breaking my cast around my ankle but I am up within two seconds preparing for a fight. I let myself pass stage three so I can be stronger than him. Another reason why I left the Sangre pack is because I was tired of acting like James was stronger than me when he wasn't. Why didn't I challenge him? I didn't see the use because then I would have to manage the pack.
"I have only come to send a message." James said trying not to poke the bear with a stick. It was two against one as soon as Abigail gets here. Abi would probably choose him over me so I'm glad she is no where to be seen.
"Stay away from Alana." James pausing, "You're worthless and shouldn't be close to a trophy."
I charged at James knocking him to the ground. I punched the pretty boy straight between the eye and the chin. I laughed as I saw him wince. He threw me near the street and I stopped.
I heard a scream and I turned around to see Abigail and Nicole of either sides of Alana. Alana had a terrified look on her face and I look up to see James with his face reformed into his human form. I look back to see Nicole smiling and Abigail having a smug look on her face. Alana looks at me like I just killed someone and takes off running.
James comes up behind me and says, "Now you have just lost her forever."
I break down onto my knees and can't believe the trick they just pulled. Anger ran through my veins as did sorrow. I ran into the woods by my house and didn't look back to see what Abigail was doing. I can't believe what she did to me. I was there for her when no one else was. I was blood to her. Now I will never forgive what she did to me tonight. I keep running deeper into the woods and stop when I get to my beautiful open field. I fall down into the ground and stare up at the stars and I slowly begin to fall asleep.
