•ALANA'S POV•
After Nicole and Abigail texted me I thought we were going to the movies or something along that line. I didn't expect to go to Chris' house. When I got there I saw Chris' white eyes and I automatically knew what he was. He is a werewolf like the ones in my dreams. It's been one week since this has happened and I want to talk to him and I want to see what he has to say.
I mean I also saw him attack James, a human. I don't know if I want to be around someone dangerous as that though. If he can attack James he most certainly can attack me.
After I saw him run into the woods I was shocked and numb. I hated seeing him so scared and watching him feel betrayed. As far as I know I don't think he has been home. I checked up on Abigail to see if she was okay from seeing him like that which she was. Abi also said that he hasn't been home. Which scares me because what if something happened to him? What if he died? What if he never comes home?
I'm so done with the "what if's" because once you start thinking about that you can never stop.
I am currently on my couch watching Netflix but I thought about it and I'm going to go look for him. Werewolf or not he is still my friend and I can't turn my back on him.
I grab my white and grey tennis shoes and head out the door.

I get to the edge of the woods and stop to look up at it. The woods was big and I wasn't sure how I would find a way out of it but I don't want to think about that. I will just have to keep my mind on Chris and nothing else. I will have to be out of the woods by sunset so I won't get hurt by animals or anything crazy.
I start walking into the woods and I get deeper and deeper and suddenly I'm already lost. I really hate not knowing where I am. I pull out my iPhone when I don't see it's light come on I groan. Things to remember if I make it out of the woods: always have phone charged while going in it. I yell for Chris and there is no answer. I try going back the way I came and I turn around to not knowing where I came from.
I sigh and start heading straight. I keep walking and yelling for Chris when I hear a shuffle behind me. I turn around to see a guy with piercing yellow eyes staring me down. He was wearing a green hoodie with grey sweatpants just standing about ten yards away watching me. He has the eyes of the wolf in my dreams.
I instantly know to run. I run with all the might I have in me because I know if I stop this won't turn out well. I scream for Chris as I run thinking his wolf powers will hear me if I scream loud enough. My foot catches a loose root and I see the ground becoming closer and closer. I hit the hard ground with a thud. I scramble to get up but muscular arms pull me up only to be ripped from my waist. I feel tears swelling up in my eyes because I know I have no control of what he can do to me. I hear growling and look up to see white eyed, bare chest, angered Chris pinning the guy on the ground. I hear a stick snap and I get up and look around to see a black eyed werewolf starring at me. He came running towards me at full force. Before I knew it Chris picked me up in his arms carrying me away. I buried my face in his shoulder while my arms laced around Chris' neck. As soon as we lost them Chris slowed down and began to walk.

•CHRIS' POV•
I carried Alana to my house because that's the only place I know where to go. I haven't been to my house in a week so this will be quite the show. I won't look at Abigail because all I will see is disgust. She betrayed me and I wasn't going to let her get away with it.
Someone is on Sangre's turf and they are not going to get away with it. They barely let me stay. Another pack? Nope not in the town of Lebanon. Not with Sangre pack.
The guy who was attacking Alana I've never seen one like him. He had yellow eyes which is remarkably rare. I haven't even heard of anybody like that. I'm still stunned.
As I'm carrying Alana and I can feel her shaking. I'm carrying her bridal style because if that pack finds us again I'm not letting her drag behind me. I don't know whether or not they are tracking me or not. Hopefully not.
"Are you going to ask if they did anything or if I'm hurt?" Alana speaks up.
I can sense she is mad but respond by saying, "I have been watching you since you entered this woods."
"So you just let me wonder around looking for you?"
"I thought you would leave and I didn't want to scare you even more because I can hear you over a mile away."
She gave me a death stare, "It still would have been nice to know that you were okay and alive, ya know?"
"I thought you were scared of me. We still need to talk about last week."
I felt her nod in response. When we get to my house, I set her down because I don't want any questions from my family as to why I am carrying her. I have to get my phone from my room and call Carter then I'm out again. I can't leave Alana outside because I don't know what will happen. I have to tell my mom and dad that they need to get out of the house. I tell Alana to stay right behind me as we walk up the steps of my house. I push open the front door and I peer into my living room. I see my mom and dad with Jeffery all looking like they have been crying. My mom looks at me, running to me, and pulling me into a tight hug. I hug her back as I hear her crying.
"They took her Chris, they took her!" my mom half yelling half crying said to me. She gripped me tighter and I buried my face in her shoulder.
"What? Who took her?" I said knowing "her" was Abigail.
"They came in and took Abi." My mother said crying more and falling down. I helped her over to the couch so she could sit down.
"Who took her?" I can't believe what I'm hearing.
"I don't know but they were elves." She blurted out. Elves were the codename for werewolves when Jeffery was around.
I ran up to Abigail's room trying to catch a scent of hers. When I recognized Alana wasn't behind me, I yelled for her. When she didn't come up to Abigail's room that's when I started to worry. I caught Abigail's scent and ran down stairs. Where is Alana? I thought she was right behind me. Did I even hear the door shut when I came in?
I run down the stairs and see that she is not in my living room.
"Mom, get out of the house and go to the store and change."
You go to the store so you're scent is crossed with other scents. You change clothes in the store because they can't follow your scent out. The only bad thing is you have to walk to your destination because your car has your scent. Once a wolf has your scent it's hard to get rid of it.
I scramble outside to see my empty lawn.
"Alana!" I yell at the top of my lungs.
When I got no response I went frantic. I know Abi can hold her own but Alana can't transform so she can't protect herself. I don't have time to go to her house and get her scent. My only choice is to get Abigail and hope and pray she knows where Alana. I follow Abigail's spicy, sugary scent. I start running because the more time I lose the more time it gives the other pack to do something to Alana. I run until I can't run anymore but then I run just a little bit more. I can hear multiple movements and short breathing behind me. I turned around to James and Nicole coming towards me. I suck in my breath and prepared for a fight. I feel my eyes change and my nails grow.
"Chris we aren't looking for a fight." Nicole spoke up.
"We just want to find Abigail because she sent us a 4 1 2 call." James said as my eyes widened.
A 4 1 2 call was a 911 call in wolf language. So if I didn't think she was in trouble I knew she was now.
I muttered, "Fine."
Then I was off to try to find Abi. I heard a muffling of a voice then see movement out of my right eye. I turn to see a pack member from the intruding pack. I run and tackle him as we hit the ground hard.
"Where is she?" I growled at him my nails growing, digging into his shirt.
"Abigail? Is wherever you want her to be." He smiled laughing by the end of the sentence. I picked his chest up and slammed him down to the ground hard.
"Okay, okay, she is underground near Walmart." he grimaced in.
"Where is Alana?" I said forcefully.
"No one will ever know where she is when we get done with her." He smiled that dangerous smile again.
He stopped smiling when I started punching him. One after another harder and harder. James pulled me off of him when the guy blacked out. I pushed him away from me and started to run.
I need to find her. Alana can't die and she can't vanish. If I can't save her before she vanishes I will never give up looking for her. I can only hope that Alana never loses hope.
