Charlie's Hero

I froze in fear as I heard these words blast from the speakers. The Shield? What did I have to do with them? Well besides that one of them was my boyfriend.

They had vicious looks as they hurried through the crowd. AJ and Tamina scurried up the ramp to avoid them.

I froze in fear as Dean grabbed a microphone and stepped into the ring while Seth and Roman followed in behind.

I knew he wouldn't hurt me. They got mixed reactions from the crowd.

No one really knew whether they were face or heel considering their feud with the Wyatts.

Dean raised the microphone to his lips and rubbed his shoulder. "Welcome to the WWE Charlie." He said. The crowd went wild. I was still confused.

I was handed a microphone from one of the workers. "Um....thank you?" I guess I'd just have to wing it. I'd never gotten to talk before.

"Nice win. I'm impressed. I'm even more impressed in your choice of a finisher." He said while smirking.

I shrugged, "It's alright. I mean, it's not the best move ever."

He chuckled, "Be very careful what you say."

"Oh I'm so scared of the guys who run around here in their little black suits saying Believe in the Shield and pretending like you own the place." I said.

"Ooooooooo." The crowd shouted.

Dean smirked, "Do you know who you're talking to little girl? You're talking to the Shield. And do you know who you're stealing from? You're stealing from Dean Ambrose. And I'd think twice before I do it again." He said threateningly.

Usually I'd be terrified in a situation like this, but it was actually pretty fun.

I got closer until our faces were mere inches apart, "Like you could do it any better."

"OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH!" The crowd shouted.

Dean smirked and looked at his Shield brothers. "Is that a challenge?" Dean asked.

I smirked slightly and raised the mic to my lips. "Game on!"

Then the lights went out. I felt Dean push me behind him. The lights came back on and The Shield was facing off with The Wyatts.

I froze in fear until I heard Dean yelling at me to run. I got out of the ring and ran up the ramp, not looking back.

I got to the back to see AJ and Tamina waiting for me.

"Great job." AJ said.

"I had no idea he was gonna do that." I said.

"You never know what's gonna happen in this company." Tamina said.

"But you got to talk for the first time." AJ cheered.

"I know!" We jumped up and down.

Then we saw Stephanie. She walked up and greeted AJ and Tamina.

"Charlie, AJ, can I have a word?" She asked.

"Well, you guys are in trouble." Tamina said.

AJ and I walked nervously behind Stephanie into her office.

"Relax, you're not in trouble. Take a seat." She said.

We sat down on the couch.

"Now, you are both very aware of the situation that Charlie had won 2 matches against the champion." She said.

We nodded.

"Well, now we usually don't do this very soon, but we'd like to give you an opportunity at AJ's title." Stephanie said to me.

"Really?" I asked excitedly.

"This Sunday at Elimination Chamber, we want Charlie vs AJ for the Divas Championship. Tamina will be banned from ringside." Stephanie said.

"What?" AJ asked.

"YES! YES! YES!" I shrieked.

AJ smiled uneasily. "But Charlie has only had a few matches on televised shows."

"Well the audience seems to love her and so do I." Stephanie said cheerfully.

"Well, congrats Charlie." AJ said.

She didn't seem very happy for me. I didn't blame her. Her baby is leaving her this Sunday and it will be mine.
