Charlie's Hero

I told Seth, Dean, Roman, AJ, and Tamina the whole story once we got back to the hotel. Dean held onto me the whole time.

"Yeah, then he blew the lantern out and felt him set me up for the Sister Abigail. Then I was out. Explains why I have such a bad headache." I said.

"Here. Take this." Roman handed me a glass of water and a painkiller pill.

"Thanks."

I fist bumped Roman and took the pill and downed it with water.

"Well Dean have Bray a pretty bad beating." AJ said.

"You did?" I asked as I looked up at Dean.

"I smacked him around a few times. No one messes with my girl." Dean said.

I smiled and leaned against him.

I woke up in his bed. I assumed I had fallen asleep and he carried me to his room. He was next to me. He was propped up on the bed, staring at me.

I gave him a weird look. "Were you watching me sleep?" I asked.

"Maybe." He smirked.

"Creepy." I muttered.

He chuckled, "How's your head?" He asked.

"Um.....better." I said.

"And your back?" He asked.

"Check." I said.

I turned so he could lift my shirt.

"It's still huge." He said.

I quickly pulled my shirt down and turned back to face him. I didn't want him worrying more.

"It's okay." I said.

"I'm sorry this happened to you, baby." He said.

"It's not your fault." I said.

"I'm gonna wait for you behind the curtain from now on. I want you to be safe." He said. I nodded in agreement. "And....I want you to room with me and the guys from now on."

"Um...."

"Charlie, please. I need to know that you're safe at all times." He said. "You know I won't pressure you into sex. That's not why I want you to stay here. Having you in my arms at night is good enough. For now." He said.

I sighed. "I'll think about it."

He kissed my nose, "Congrats last night, baby. Nice move." He smirked.

"I needed a big finish. It kinda just happened." I shrugged.

"I'm sure AJ wants to vent on you for that. It was good, shorty. But....ya know....needs a little practice." He said.

I rolled my eyes, "Like you could do any better."

"Sweetheart. It's my move." He smirked. "On Saturday, we're renting a ring out. Ya know, just to practice for Elimination Chamber. Seth knows a guy. Come with us. I wanna show you a couple of moves."

I jumped up, "Oooh. Can Roman teach me the spear and can Seth teach me the curb stomp???" I asked excitedly. I LOVED those moves.

He shrugged, "After I teach you how to perfect Dirty Deeds. I mean....it helped you win your first match."

"OMG DEAN! I almost forgot! I WON MY MATCH!" I said as I gave him a big hug.

"Even better, you pinned the Divas Champion." Dean said.

"Yep. It's definitely easier to beat up your best friend." I said.

Dean chuckled. "Let's get movin. We gotta hit the gym before Smackdown."
