Sargent Kandros wasn't sure how he felt about what he heard. He never even considered cross species mating, well there was that one time with that Asari Consort, but every species found Asari beautiful. Kandros continued staring at the recruit. She was strong, he would give her that, and smart, quick, and one hell of a marksmen. He had been on this Spirit forsaken planet for two years with no female turian to keep him company. "Spirits, what the hell am I thinking!?" Kandros shook his head, but kept his eye on his recruit. He couldn't believe that a human female would find his kind appealing. They are so different, he would of thought she'd think him too repulsive to consider mating with. Maybe she knew he could hear her, she is very intelligent. That's it, she was messing with him to get back at him for punishing her. That had to be it, but he had to be sure.
Sargent Kandros walked across the compound toward the human female. He stopped in front of her, placing his talons behind his back. "Recruit Shepard!" He snapped "Sargent Sir!" Shepard shouted back. "Getting tired recruit!" "Sir, No sir" Shepard straightened her back. Kandros leaned as close to her neck as he could get without touching her, and whispered in a rough low growl "Feeling HOT!" Jane swallowed hard, "Sir, no sir." she could feel his warm breath on her neck as the low rumble she heard caused heat to rush through her body, and settle between her legs. She felt herself getting wetter the longer he stood close to her. Kandros inhaled. His eyes shot open wide as the scent of her desire for him reached his nostril. He stepped back so he could get a better look at her. She really is stunning for a human. He smiled. "I have a proposal for you recruit, would you like to hear what it is." He continued to look into her eyes. "Sir, yes sir" Jane barked. "At ease recruit" Jane lowered her arms, she could feel them burn when she rested them at her side. "Shower, eat, then come to my quarters, we can discuss it there." Kandros leaned forward one more time inhaling her fragrance. "Sir, yes sir" Jane saluted. "Dismissed" Kandros turned, and headed to his office. Jane stood there a few seconds longer to stunned to move. "What the hell just happened? Did he say meet him at his quarters, not his office? Why? What kind of shit does he have planed for me now, emptying his chamber pot?" Jane narrowed her eyes, and shook her head as she walked into the dorm to shower, then head to the mess hall to grab a bite to eat. Two hours later she was washed and fed walking to her drill Sargent personal quarters.
Jane stood in front of her Sargent's door, hesitant to knock. Grave was sitting at his desk, going over Shepard's file, when he caught her sent. He inhaled, he recognized her musky fragrance mixed with a sweet spice that he was unfamiliar with, but found it pleasant. He made a mental note to ask her what it was. Grave had spent the last two hours on the intranet looking up turian, human relationships. He wanted her to think he had experience with this, to put her at ease, if she considers his proposal. Jane finally knocked on the door, she wasn't quite sure why she felt unsure about this. "Maybe because you think he's hot, and sexy, and..." "Come in" Kandros barked, bringing Jane back from her thoughts. "Sir" Jane walked through the door, and stood at attention. She began surveying her surroundings. Directly in front of her was a military issued desk, plain nothing to special. Kandros sat there reviewing a file. A light shone on his face through a small window to his right giving his facial features a even more striking look. Jane felt that familiar rush of heat she was getting use to feeling whenever she thought about him. She watched him inhale, and smile, never lifting his head. There was a small couch and table against the wall on her left, and to her right a large bed with a nightstand. Jane's thoughts wandered "I wonder what amazing things he and I could do in a bed that size" she closed her eyes and took a deep breath. When she reopened them Kandros had stood from his chair, and was walking toward her. She feels her heart quicken the closer he gets to her. "Recruit Jane Shepard, I have been going over your file." He stopped a foot from her. "So, Jane is it?" he questioned. "Yes Sir" "At ease recruit." Kandros smiled, his voice gentler then she was use to hearing, she wasn't sure if she liked it better then his rough bark of a voice she came to enjoy so much. "Do you mind if I call you Jane?" He stepped a little closer. Jane rested her hands into each other behind her back at a relaxed stance. "No sir, I don't mind." In fact, she rather liked the way her name sounded when he said it. She thought to herself. "Good. I'll get right to the point Jane." He gave her a half smile. "We both have been on this planet for...what two years now?" Grave knew exactly how long it had been, he was making a point. "Yes Sir" Jane wondered what he was getting at. "I have noticed that several of the male recruits have found you...let's use the word interesting." He grinned. "I wonder, have you found any particular male human, or turian that peaked your interests?" He turned to walk back to his desk. "No Sir?" Jane felt her face begin to flush. Did he find out what she had said about him, is that what this is about? He stopped just before reaching the front of the desk, and turned. "So, no mate to speak of?" His voice trailed off with a rumble. Jane's breath caught. "No Sir" "Good, then here is my proposal, I would like for us to start a...what is the human word for it?, Oh yes, sexual relationship for the remainder of your time here." Jane was stunned, his words sounded so matter of fact, she didn't know what to say. "I can tell you are surprised at my proposition, so I will give you sometime to think about what I have said. There is four hours before curfew, if you are interested, be back here an hour before curfew begins. If you have decided, that this is not something you would consider, then there will be no retaliation on my part, things go back to normal." Kandros walked over to the door, and opened it. "Dismissed recruit, and I hope to see you later tonight Jane." A low growl left his throat as she walked passed him. "Oh, and Jane..." she stopped without looked at him. "What is that scent I can smell on you.?" He asked "Vanilla." She whispered as she walked past him, and out the door of his quarters.
