Jane was walking back to her dorm, when Tara ran and jumped on her back. "Hey girl, where ya been?" She wrapped her legs around Jane's waist, and her arms around her neck, placing her head against her cheek. Jane held on to her legs as she spun around. The two of them laughed and giggled. Jane stopped spinning, and Tara placed her feet on the ground. "So, where were you?" Tara asked still giggling. "You are not going to believe it, come on." Jane grabbed her hand, and headed to their private place in an old storage shed at the far end of the marching field. "Quick, get in." Jane huffed opening the door, as she looked around to make sure they weren't spotted. "Okay, now spill it!" Tara sat on one of the wooden crates covered with a blanket that her, and Jane made into a makeshift chair. Jane sat across from her, and began to tell her what had happened. "Holy shit!" Tara shook her head "What are you going to do? You can't really be considering it, can you?" Tara saw that look on Jane's face, the one she gets when she has already made up her mind to do something crazy. "Oh my God, you are considering it. Jane, are you sure about this, I mean did you even tell him that you have never been with anyone like that before?" Tara frowned. "Well, no. We really hadn't talked about stuff like that. Do you think it will matter to him?" Jane's forehead wrinkled with worry. Tara saw the concern on her face, and sighed "No, I don't think it will matter to him, but what about you? Are you sure he is the right one to be your first?" Tara questioned. "Do you ever really know if they are the right one or not until its over? Look at you and what's his name." Jane leaned forward. "Crap, Bobby, don't remind me. Boy was he a mistake." "Yeah, but you thought he was going to be the perfect guy for your first time, and he turned out to be an ass." Jane took a deep breath then let it out. "The point is, I don't know if he is the right guy or not, and I probably wont know until it's over. What I do know is I think he's hot, and he chose me to be with. I really want to do this Tara." Jane smiled as she realized she had already made up her mind she was going back to his quarters later tonight. "Well okay then, I hope he knows what he's doing, because I know you don't." Tara laughter and playfully pushed Jane's shoulder. "He acted like he had been with a human before, so I think he does, but I'll let him know right when I get there, that I have no idea what to do, and let him make up his own mind if he still wants to be with me or not.
Two hours before curfew, Jane and Tara were in the dorm going through their cloths, trying to put together something that didn't look so military. "How about this?" Tara had put together a pair of her cropped black cargo pants, with one of Jane's black tank tops, and hoodie. "Perfect!" Jane smiled with excitement as she grabbed the outfit, and headed to the shower, with Tara close behind her. Jane was so nervous, Tara had to help her get ready. "Hurry Tara, I'm going to be late." Tara rolled her eyes. "You are not going to be late, you still have thirty minutes. There, done." Jane looked at herself in the mirror, and smiled. Tara put a small amount of make up on her that brought out the green in her eyes, and the auburn in her hair. "Thank you so much!" Jane turned, and hugged her tight." Tara could feel her shaking as she held onto her. "It will be fine, I promise." She whispered in her ear. "Now get going before you are late." Jane kissed her on her cheek, and headed to Sargent Kandros' private quarters.
Grave placed two glasses, and two bottles of wine on the table in front of his couch, one bottle of turian wine for him, and one red for his guest, if she shows. Grave caught himself looking at the clock. Thirty more minutes until the time she should be arriving. He felt a hint of nervousness, and chuckled to himself. "Get a grip Grave, you're twice her age, and way pass the awkward stage." Grave walked over to the mirror on the wall next to his bed, and took one last look at himself. He had to admit, he really is quite good looking as far as turians go, and the black and white pants, and shirt he chose to wear fit him perfect. Just then the sweet scent of musk, and vanilla hit his nostrils. "She's here" He felt that hint of nervousness return. He took a deep breath, and walked over to the door just as she knocked. Jane stood in the doorway, and smile. "Spirits Jane, you are beautiful." Grave exhaled. "Come in." He smiled as he held the door for her. "Thank you, you look very handsome also Sir." Jane smiled back at him. "My name is Grave. It would be nice if you could call me by my name when we are here if you wouldn't mind." He motioned for her to have a seat on the couch. "I would like that." She smiled as she removed her hoodie, and placed it on the back of the couch. "Would you like a glass of wine." Grave opened the bottle, as Jane handed him her class. "Yes, thank you." He filled her glass, and placed the bottle back on the table. He reached over, and opened the turian wine pouring himself a glassful as he sat next to her on the couch.
"Jane," Grave looked into her eyes. "I think there is a few things I should educate you on, if you feel comfortable talking." Grave took a drink of his wine. "Yes, I think we should talk." Jane agreed. "I take it you have never been with a turian before." Jane shook her head no."I thought not. First, turians can go into a primal mode when mating, we can get pretty rough. I will try my best to remain in control, but if I should lose that control, I may hurt you." He waited for her to react. "Hurt me how?" Jane asked taking a drink from her glass. "Bite marks, scratches, and some chaffing. No broken bones." He chuckled trying to make light of the situation. "Oh okay." Jane felt a little relieved that all she had to worry about was a few bites, and scratches. "Also after we mate, every turian here will know it was me that you had been with, so if you are uncomfortable with them knowing, we probably shouldn't be doing this." Grave looked down, afraid she may change her mind. "Jane reached for his talon. "I am not ashamed to be here, so I don't care who knows we chose to be with each other." Grave lifted his head, and looked into her eyes, they were so green, he was feeling pretty luck that she chose to be here with him tonight. "There is something that I need to let you know also." She said as she took a deep breath. "I have never been with anyone, human or turian, so I'm not to sure what to expect." Jane lowered her head waiting for him to say something. "Grave lifted her chin, and smiled "I am honored, Jane that you have decided to given me this great gift, and I will go slow, and try to be as gentle as I possible can." Jane smile, and nodded. Grave stood, and took her by the hand, and led her to the side of his bed.
