Later that night Grave was in his quarters pacing as he watched the clock. "She's not coming, I pushed her to hard at PT today." He sat on the couch, and poured himself a glass of wine. He quickly drank it, then poured himself another. "She should have been here ten minutes ago."He finished his second glass, grabbing the bottle filling the glass for the third time. Just then the familiar scent of musk and vanilla entered his nostrils. "Thank the Spirit's, she's here". Just as Grave started walking towards the door, Jane rushed through. She ran to him jumping into his arms, wrapping her legs around his wait, and hugging his neck. She kissed his face over and over. "I'm sorry I'm late." Grave held her like she was his life line. He walked her over to his bed, and laid her down. "I'm sorry about today." He said as he started to undress. Jane raised to her knees as she also began removing her cloths. "Noting to be sorry for, you are my drill Sargent, I would expect nothing less from you." She huffed as she stood on the bed pulling off her pants. "I know, but I should have been understanding, you are chaffed, and sore." Grave ripped his shirt off, and pulled his pants to the floor. "Out there, you are my drill Sargent." Jane pulled her shirt over her head, and unhooked her bra. "In here, you are my lover." Grave jumped on the bed, grabbing her, and flipping her over onto her stomach. His eyes began to cloud over, and his plates shifted. He dug his talons into her hips, and lifted her backside so he could enter her easier. Jane pressed herself tight against him as Grave entered her with one quick thrust. She screamed with pleasure as he pushed into her showing no mercy. They continued to make love through the night, each time more passionate then the last, and each time he would bite her in the same spot in between her neck and shoulder just before releasing his seed.

The two lovers laid on their backs, with their eyes shut, waiting for their breathing to slow, and heart beats to return to a normal rhythm. Jane rolled over resting her head on Graves shoulder, and took a deep breath. Grave wrapped his talon around the locks of her hair. "What has you troubled my little Varren?" Graves voice was still low and deep signaling to Jane he still hadn't  fully recovered from his frenzy. "What happens to us when the year is over, and I have finished my training?" Grave opened his eyes. He knew full well what was in their future, but he didn't have the heart to speak with her about what has already been set into motion, and could not be changed even if he wanted to. "We have a full year my little Varren, there will be plenty of time to talk of these matters another day." Grave rolled from under her, and faced her. "Right now, the sun is about to come up, and you have PT to get to. I hear your drill Sargent is a real dickhead." Jane chuckled "yeah, a real hard ass, but an amazing lover." She rolled him over, and sat on his waist. "Move in here." Grave blurred out. "What!?" Jane was totally taken back. "When you come back tonight, bring your things. It's not like everyone doesn't know where you spend your nights already." Grave smiled. Jane rolled off him, and scooted off the bed. "I'm not sure, I worry about leaving Tara." She frowned as she began getting dressed. "I'll think about it okay?" Grave stood, and walked over to her putting his arms around her, he leaned in and kissed the top of her head. "Whatever you decide my little Varren, now get going before you're late...again!." Jane reached up, and kissed his cheek. See you tonight." she yelled back at him as she headed to the door. "I better see you on the field, and on time." He barked. "I'll see Sargent Kandros on the field, but you, I'll see tonight." She winked as the door shut.

Grave finished dressing then sat at his terminal opening the message he had sent earlier this week. "General Victus, I except your proposal of an arranged bonding between myself, and your younger sister Sidera, to take place after the term of my current duty has ended in one year. I hope this bonding will further strengthen the ties between our families, and help to further both our careers. Yours Truly, Sargent Kandros. Grave shut down his terminal, and leaned back in his chair. "If only I had waited a few days longer." He said to himself  "What's done is done, there is no going back." Grave knew he had to tell her. He had already decided to refer her for the "N' program weeks ago. He knows she has been hoping for the chance to reach N-7 status, and a relationship will only get in her way. He tried to convince himself that this would be for the best. He stood, shaking his head not convinced at all, how can he think it will convince her. He headed to the shower feeling sick to his stomach at the thought of letting her go.
