The sun from the small window across the room shone onto Jane's face, bringing her out of her dreams, and back into reality. Jane opened her eyes with a sigh. She was having such a nice dream, she was sorry that it had faded with the morning light. She felt the heat from the body next to her as flashes of last night flooded her memory. Grave started to stir, as Jane pulled from his embrace sitting on the edge of the bed. "Good morning my little Varren, how are you feeling?" Grave yawned, and stretched as he stood. "A bit sore." Jane tried standing, but her legs felt a bit shaky so she sat back down. "I expected as much, hold still a minute." Grave walked over to the night stand next to Jane, and pulled out two containers.  He gently helped her stand, then knelt down in front of her, applying cream from one of the jars on her bites and scratches. "Mmm!" Jane hummed "That feels amazing." Jane looked down. Grave looked up at her, and winked. "MediGel." He smiled. When he was done applying the MediGel, he placed it back on the nightstand and opened the other tube. He spread her legs further apart, and cringed when he saw the blood red rash between her legs from chaffing. "This will help with the burn." He looked around her, and caught a glimpse of light red blood on the sheet where she was laying, and frowned.  "Does it still hurt?" He whispered without lifting his eyes as he  reached up, and placed the palm of his talon just above the patch of hair that covered her sex. "Just a little" Jane grinned at the memory of this strong turian in front of her tried his damnedest last night to be gently. "I's sorry Jane." Grave lowered his head more. "Hey!" Jane reached down and raised his head so she could look into his beautiful grey eyes. "I'm not, and as soon as this gel dries, I was hoping for round two." She winked at him. Grave laughed, as he stood placing the other tube next to the MediGel then he wrapped his arms around her pulling her close. "You are something else my little Varren, and as much as I would love for us to continue where we left off last night you have PT (physical training) in two hour, and you still need to shower, and change." "Why a Varren?" Jane questioned him. "Varren are small savage animals, like you. They are adaptable, and victorious. I've seen you fight." He smiled. "They have a veracious sexual appetite, and they are extremely vocal when they mate, just like you." Grave gave her a devilish grin, and a low growl. "Hey!" Jane playfully punched him on the shoulder. "You loved it, and you know it" Grave roared with laughter. "I certainly did my little Varren, more then you know."

Jane finished dressing as Grave entered the shower. "Must be nice having your own shower" Jane yelled to him "Well yes it is." Grave yelled back sarcastically. "Dickhead" Jane whispered "That's Sargent dickhead recruit." Jane turned towards the bathroom surprised. "How did you hear that over the shower." Jane asked "Turians have exceptional hearing Jane, you would do well to remember that recruit." Jane laughed and shook her head as she stepped out the door. "See you on the field."  "Don't be late!" He called out. The door shut before she heard him respond.

Jane was already running late, most of the recruits were on the field warming up. She pulled a tank top and pair of sweats from her locker, and headed to the showers. Her hair was still wet when she walked onto the field. Grave was already there, and the recruits were lined up doing sit ups. Every turian stopped. Jane watched as each of them took a deep breath, and turned to look at her, then at Grave. "They know, just like he said they would." She thought to herself. Grave didn't flinch. "You're late recruit!" He barked not looking at her. "Sir yes Sir. Sir sorry Sir!" Jane stood at attention. Give me a lap. "Sir yes Sir" Jane was still sore, and this was going to hurt. "Ass!" She whispered under her breath. Some of the turian recruits chuckled. "Make that three laps!" Grave smirked. "Shit, turians have exceptional hearing, you would do well to remember." Jane recited mockingly what Grave said to her earlier this morning. She shook her head, and started running. By the time Jane was through her second lap, the inside of her legs were on fire. Grave noticed her slowing down. "Recruit Shepard!" Grave shouted at her just before she reached him and the other recruits. "Sir!" Jane stopped. "Hit the showers, then head to the mess Hall, They are short in the kitchen today." "Yes Sir!" Jane started to walk towards the dorm. "If you're late tomorrow recruit it will be four full laps. Are we clear!." Grave turned to face her. "Yes Sir." Jane didn't look back.
