Do me a favor, pick me up,
take me out later
Don't worry about no paper
'Cuz I got mine stacked up
for nights like this

My life can get crazy,
I deal with shit on the daily
But baby I'm thinking maybe,
we could agree to work it out like this

I need you (you, oh)
to give me your time (give me your time)
I need you (you, oh) to not wanna be mine

Are you down to be a distraction. baby?
But don't distract me, let me ask you baby
Do you, do you, do you do you wanna be

A distraction, baby?
Do you, do you, do you do you wanna be
Yeah, yeah

Stormi sat on the couch in the studio, lightly tapping her finger on the scribbled notebook. Her mind was clogged with all types of thoughts, but she couldn't find not one drip of  any inspiration. Taking a small eye-break from the lined paper she looked around the room when she felt a over-large presence over her.

"You working on something?" DeVante's voice boomed through the entire studio as he took a seat on the couch. Even though she felt his presence, he still scared the living hell out of her. "Yep. For my next album."

"Mmh, who's got you distracted?" He asked, moving his head infront of her face, taking a peak at the lyrics.

"At the moment, you."

DeVante held his hand over his heart with a bright smile on his face, "Tryna' get a nigga to feel special, huh?"

"Y'know what, fuck you." Stormi chuckled, holding her head down rearranging the verses on the paper. In the past couple of months she'd been pretty cold towards DeVante, but she was opening up slowly to a friendship.

"Time and place baby, time and place." Stormi ignored his statement and continued on with her song, only to be interrupted again by the three blind mice.

"Time and place for what? What in the hell y'all in here doing!" K-Ci yelled running into the room, with Jojo and Dalvin behind him.

DeVante kissed his teeth and put his arm around Stormi's shoulder. "Mind you're business, toothpick."

"Whatever, you better not be trying to get with my beautiful black queen over there. Stick with yo' flat-booty white girls."

Stormi and the boys let out a loud laugh as DeVante sat back like his feelings were hurt. He had his little thing for snow bunnies — recently Madonna, but that's none of our business.

"Stupid Motherfuckers." Dalvin mumbled, looking over her shoulder. "What's up Stormi? You and De writing another song?" As you could see, all these negros are pretty nosey. What if Stormi was writing something private, like a in the moment song, they would know all about it.

"Nah, I'm writing and he's watching."

"Mmh." Dalvin smirked, winking at DeVante. What in the world is going on? Is this some type of secret bro code or something?

"So, when are you going to write a song for us?" Jojo asked, taking a seat at the soundboard.

"When ever y'all want me to." Stormi shrugged, picking up her pen again.

"Hold up, we got it like that? Stormi Evans is at our service." K-Ci chuckled.

"Oh, shut up K-Ci." Stormi waved him off. Lil Cedric was a real asshole a little funny, but a asshole.

"Nah, on a real note. You gonna be big, like Michael Jackson famous. I mean y'all almost got married-we don't want you to forget about us." Jojo expressed his inner thoughts as Stormi looked around at the other three boys, noticing the same sincere look on their face. They really felt like she was gonna forget about them.

The fame that she had already, didn't make a difference. What's a few more million dollars and nosey people in you're business. Maybe all the platinum records and albums would change somebody's thoughts, but Stormi knew she could never get to that point. She didn't make music for the money, she made music for the enjoyment and entertainment of others. Plus, how could you forget the four crazy personalities that made up such a talented group. "Forget y'all? Nope, I couldn't do that." Stormi shook her head in disbelief.

"Just promise us alright? We all got a lot of potential, but you already up there. C'mon you're debut album is already at what? 15 million copies, you're making history." Dalvin spoke up, holding his hand on Stormi's shoulder.

"I'm not gonna forget y'all, I promise. Uptown is my family, we're always gonna be tight. I love y'all, like my own brothers."

"Aw shit, we made Stormi get all soft." DeVante smiled, pulling her into a side-hug.

"Yeah Yeah, but she just friend-zoned all of us."

"Way to ruin the moment K-Ci." Jojo yelled, smacking his older brother across the forehead. Moments like this, would last a lifetime.
