"Looks like we're partners, Todoroki."

"This project is mandatory, and it counts for a large percentage of your grade. Partner work means both of you put in equal amounts of effort! Now, I'd recommend you start working now, its due by the end of the month."

Midnight was explaining the project on the board. It was a hero analysis essay and presentation we got to do with partners for our Hero Art History class. Todoroki and I were assigned as partners, luckily enough...even if we got to choose I would have probably went for him anyway. I wasn't super good friends with anyone in the class besides him yet.

The dismissal bell rang and I quickly got out of my seat, grabbing my bag just as everyone else. The last period of the day always felt so long. It was always filled with Midnight being somewhat overly sexual for a classroom full of teenagers. I glanced back to Todoroki as I slung my bag over my shoulders, standing happily in front of him. "Looks like we're partners, Todoroki," I said with a smile. He looked over to me with a sort of bored look, making me laugh slightly under his glare.

"If you're free we can totally get started today," I said as he put his bag over his shoulder. He looked off to the side, out the window for a second before nodding. I assumed he was confirming my question, so I automatically tried to make some sort of arrangements as we both walked by each other. I looked to his grey shoes as we walked, my hands clasped together as we passed by people in the halls. My hands would occasionally raise and wave to people I knew, but Todoroki kept his hands deep in his pockets.

I hummed slightly, lifting my chin and looking over to him. He glanced over to me at my sudden movement. I was thinking about the location we would go, and we could always go to my house. Sure, it was an apartment, so it probably didn't have a lot of space compared to the mansion Todoroki probably lived in. "So," I dragged on the word, seeing his brow raise in curiosity. "Should we go to your house? We can-"

"I think it will be best if we go to yours," He automatically said. I paused for a moment at the suddenness of his answer, but I didn't question it. I nodded with a smirk, "Yeah thats fine!" I reassured. There was a lingering silence between the both of us as we put on our shoes and left the school, a smile on my face.

The train ride was the same as usual, me talking a lot and Todoroki barely listening. I didn't mind though, it was nice. I found it cute how when we got to our stop and I stood up he just stayed seated, not used to getting off so early. I laughed, leaning forward and tugging on his collar.

He looked up in confusion, then realized. I've never seen his embarrassed face before, the slight confusion in his eyes and he failed to make eye contact. He sat still, forcing me to grab his sleeve and tug him to standing position, dragging him along behind me as we exited the train. "I thought you were the one dragging me in this friendship," I teased, letting go of his blazer's cuff with a smile.

His heterochromatic eyes darted to my eyes. "Apologies, I nearly forgot we were doing the project together," he explained. He sounded like Iida with how formal he was being...he must have tried to make up for it.

"You're good, come on my house is nearby," I said with a smile. He nodded, following me as I confidently went through the streets. I lived in a downtown area, close to a strip of shops and boutiques. Most people here dressed up, going to one of the boho cafes or clothes stores. I happily told Todoroki about it, knowing that again, he probably wasn't listening.
