"It's not my fault the manual is like fifty pages long!"
Hitoshi shouted at me as I chuckled, screwing the last leg into his desk. "It's a five piece desk, its literally just screwing rectangles to a rectangle," I teased, shaking the last leg to. make sure it didn't budge. It was fairly light, so I was able. together up and flip it over with a grunt.
"There, you need me to build anything else?" I asked, looking at the boxes strewn around his dorm room. "The Gods know you will never be able to fold all these clothes and actually put them away," I murmured, peeking into a moving box filled to the brim with sweatshirts.
He rolled his eyes, standing up with a sigh. He wore a loose black t-shirt, the collar all lopsided and showcasing one of his collarbones and some of his shoulder. With matching black lounge shorts, it completed his utterly lazy look.
"Yeah like you're clothes are even packed," He scoffed, kicking the desk a little to see if it would fall.
I scoffed right back at him, getting close to his face in a challenging manner. "As a matter of fact, all my shit is unpacked and put away!" I retaliated with a proud smile.
It had been two days since we moved into the dorms. Five days since I woke up in the hospital. Six days since Bakugou had been rescued...
I suffered a mild head trauma, resulting in a myriad of symptoms I had to be wary of. Though, I felt healthy...happy, ready to forget the horrors of that training camp.
Hitoshi denied my request of building anything else, explaining how he was capable of building his dresser, which I doubted. "Alright, then I'll get out of your hair," I explained, turning on my heels to exit. "I'll walk you," he chimed, speeding behind me before the door closed. I chuckled, shaking my head as we stood outside his dorm. "Nah, I'm good, it's like less than three minutes," I assured him, to which he requested to walk me to the lobby since he was 'already up'.
Comfortable silence consumed the air in the halls and elevator, everyone was settling down to get ready to cool down. The sun set in about an hour, so it was a pretty ideal time to relax.
Once we stepped closer to the doors, the wind howling against the glass made me frown. "Oh shit, I woulda offered you a sweatshirt," Hitoshi admitted, cringing at the sounds from the weather. I looked over my shoulder, glaring. "You're really to lazy to go upstairs and get me a fucking sweatshirt?" I hissed, to which he put on a big smile.
"Ah it was great seeing you too!" He shouted over me, ignoring my words as he wrapped two arms around me in a bear hug, his height towering over my own. He started to walk, pushing me outside with him since I was still encased in your arms. "Until next time! Yes! Yes! I'll miss you too!" he shouted goofily, making me groan against his skin.
The door opened and the air was ice cold, feeling like it was slicing my skin open,
He pulled away from me, hands on my shoulders with his large grin. "Good luck getting back to the dorms!" He said playfully, kissing my forehead before slamming the door shut.
