after leaving the movies and gushing about how good incredibles 2 was, hisako and renjun headed back to her place for swimming lessons and more snacks even after being full of popcorn.

dipping their legs into the pool to adjust to the temperature, hisako couldn't take her mind off of renjun's words back in the cinema. sure, the movie distracted her loads but she was just too curious to her liking.

she got snapped out of her thoughts when the cause of her messed up thoughts nudged her with his elbow. "oi, why're you so deep in thought. this isn't normal." renjun held a soft smile.

"you'd think you would've learned how to swim already after watching hours of that swimming anime. everyone can tell the blue haired dude is in love with rin."

unknowingly, hisako completely forgot about what she was thinking of and focused on renjun. "uHm you mean free? and haru's undying love for rin? i would've thought too but my brain didn't register the movements of their godlike fictional bodies."

"despite watching so many sports animes, you're still so lazy."

rolling her eyes, hisako slipped her body into the pool where the water reached a little bit higher than her waist. "i don't have enough determination to do any football, baseball, volleyball or golf unlike you who's always striving to do your best."

looking away from renjun, hisako continued, "i always have to study for hours and you could just ace a test without even having to look at your notes. you can draw flawlessly when i can't even draw a stick man properly. you're so nice and smart, forget about rihanna, you're out of everyone's league."

with every compliment, the said boy's face turned a shade of red deeper.

copying hisako, renjun got in the water. "but i'm still not as amazing as you." he muttered but you managed to catch his quiet words.

and like in the movie theater, renjun managed to make hisako's heart to beat faster than ever.
