meanwhile, the dreamies were texting, hisako found herself stuck with a student she never spoke to as her roommate for the night. the rooms were divided by gender and hisako didn't really befriend females.

hisako laid on top of the cream colored sheets the hotel provided with a blank look on her face, busy with her thoughts and spacing out again. her roommate, shuhua, just got out of the shower, changed into a fresh pair of pink pajamas and stopped as soon as she saw hisako's empty face.

"your face is— you look like you gave up on life."

"i have."

"wanna talk about it?"

"no."

shuhua walked over to her bed, opposite from hisako's and sat down, reaching for her phone.

"it's just that— there's this guy, he makes me so nervous but i've known him for years."

hisako's pretty roommate stopped getting her phone and smirked knowing hisako was just going to spill the beans despite having said she didn't want to talk about it.

"ever since he invited me to the movies that day and i felt his heart go boom boom i doN'T KNOW WHAt happened, i felt my whole goddamn face burn and URgh." hisako rolled on her side to face shuhua who was listening carefully.

"he knows everything about me and we're practically best friends, hE evEN TaugHT me how to swim just for this trip for god sake. when i touch him my skin tingles and my heart exPLODES."

a pout made it's way to the japanese girl's rosy lips, "i don't know what to do anymore."

the black haired girl smiled softly, "i think you're in love roomie—"

"whA—"

"—please let me talk."

"sorry..." hisako shyly smiled at her roommate.

"you talk pretty fondly of this guy since he makes your heart explode." shuhua giggled, "this is love advice from someone you just met but if he taught you how to swim, aka a sKiLL THAT CouLD SAve youR LIfe, marry him. well, not right now at least."

shuhua didn't leave hisako a chance to speak and kept spurting out advice, "you should tell him you like him."

hisako sighed, "but what if he doesn't like me back?"

the other female scoffed, "it'd be better than never telling him, right?"

she nodded, "what's your name again????"

"shuhua." with a bright smile, she reached her hand out, shaking it, hisako said, "i'm hisako."

"thank you so much shuhua."

the two laid back in their beds and switched off the lights as the time neared midnight.

"so... who's the lucky guy?" shuhua smirked in the dark leading to a blushing hisako whine.
