Part 7

~ DASHES PROV ~

           
I wake up to the smell of bacon and hashbrowns. Sitting up, I turn my head and see Mason was still asleep. She was facing me. Wow she is pretty.. she looks so peaceful in her sleep. She doesn't look stressful, which I can tell she has been stressed for a couple days. I wonder why? Maybe it's just school that's got ther stressed. Mason starts to wake up, so I hurry and lay back down, my back facing her and grab a comic book and pretend to read it. I see her sit up, looking around and then hers eyes land on me.
"Well, good morning shortstack."
I say as I look at her then back at my comic book.
"You know I'm only an inch shorter then you, so technically you are also a shortstack."
"Why do you say that?" I put down my comic book and sit up, looking at Mason.
"Isn't lily taller than you? I think she is 2 inches taller than you."

"Nooo..? I don't remember, that was yesterday, who remembers what happend yesterday at school?"
Mason sits there and has a thinking face on, then she shakes her head yes and says
"True, I dont remember what we had for lunch.. oh well, who wants to remember school?"
"Exactly."

Mason and I turn our heads when we here knocking and the door opening. Helen pokers her head in and sees that we are awake.
"Oh, I thought I heard voices, breakfast is done, if you guys want to eat. Oh, and dash, your homework is on the table don't forget it."
"Okay mom."
Helen walks out of the room and goes back to the kitchen.
I was about to say something till I saw Mason hurrying to get the blankets off of her and she gets off the bed and runs out of the room yelling.
"FOOD!"
I just sit there with my eyebrows raised even though she can't see me.
Mason pokes her head in my room with a look of are-you-coming all over her face.
"What?"
"Dude, you coming food is done."
"You know-
"No I don't know."
I shake my head and smile at mason.
"You know I don't  think I know anybody else who loves food more then you."
"That's because is the best! I mean who doesn't like food?"
"That's true food is delicious."
"Okay then. Case solved. Let's go get food. Coming?"
"Yeah, I'm coming."

I say as I take my blanket off and get up. Mason waits for me outside my room. We walk into the kitchen to see everyone there eating. Me and Mason walk to 5he empty seats and sit down. In front of us was bacon, hashbrowns and eggs.
We sit in silence as we eat. Bob gets up when he finished his food and goes and put his plate away. He comes back in the room and kisses his wife goodbye.
"Bye, kids!"
Bye, dad, Mr. Parr!" We all say in unison. Bob opens the door and leaves for work.
"I want you guys to hurry, you got school today." Helen says.
Me and Mason just shook our heads and ate our breakfast.

~TIME SKIP~

Me and Mason get dropped off at school. As we walk in the school we went to our lockers.
"I am going to my locker, than I am going to find lily." Mason says she starts backing up and heading to her locker.
"Okay. I'll find you guys later."
I wave at Mason while she leaves, but not before she waves back. Once she was gone I turned back to my locker and got my books and closed my locker. Just as I was about to go find Mason and lily the bell rang. Great. I'll find them after class or see them at lunch. I get in my class and sit down and waited. Kids are piling in now, each taking there seats.
The bell rings and the teacher walks into the classroom. He starts talking, but I'm not paying attention. I already want to go home.. maybe I can prank someone again and get sent home early. No I won't leave Mason.
I take out my notebook and start to scribble in it.

I've been sitting here forever! When is the bell going to ring? Why do classes always have to be so long? Ugh.. i hate school.

~TIME SKIP TO LUNCH~

i grab my food and head to mine, Mason and lily's table. I get there and see they are both already there talking.
"Hey, talking about me?" I say walking up to them and sitting down.
"You wish." Lily says.
"Tou should be talking about me. After all I am good looking. I am dash parr the handsome guy." I says staring off into space. I look back at the girls to see them pulling weird faces at me.
"What?"
"How did we become friends again?"
Mason asked.
"I accidentally pranked her with her locker."
Lily looks at me and then Mason and then me again. She gives a look.
"How do you 'accidentally' prank someone?" She asks.
"Well, I thought that her locker was Jake's. So I shoved sparkles, confetti into his locker, so when he opened it, it would pop out of his locker and all over him. But then I realized it was masons locker.."
"I had sparkles in my hair for weeks"
"And that's how we met." I say finishing my story.
"Uh, huh."

We sit there in silence, well wasn't really silence since other students were laughing or yelling or 'making' music. I say 'making' music like that because it does not sound like music at all.
"Wait jake the popular guy?" Lily asked breaking our little silence we had going on.
"Yeah, him."
"Awe man, I wish I could have seen that prank on him." She says a little disappointed.
"Well, that didn't happen because he got the wrong locker number." Mason says with so much sarcasm in her voice.
"I thought it was his locker, but it turned out to be the locker next to yours." I say a little quieter.
She just shakes her head and eats her food. We sit there for a few more minutes just talking, laughing and making jokes. And then the bell rang and we went to our classes.

What up! Another one done! Hope you guys like it, I tried my best, but I got to say I dont really like how this chapter turned out...
Oh well. So I decided I am going to post every wednesday! That way I got time to get ideas for later on in this book.
