Part 11

~ DASHES PROV ~

I wake up to the sound of my mom yelling at me.

"Get up dash or you'll be late!"

"Ugghh." I sit up and take the blanket off and start to look for some clothes to wear. Finally after a while I find clothing I could wear and walk out of my room.

"Hurry and eat dash."

"Yeah, yeah. I'm going to." I say.

~• TIME SKIP, BEFORE SCHOOL STARTS•~

I'm sitting on the steps waiting for mason to show up. I'm waiting for another 3 minutes when her car pulls up. A smile grows on my face and I get up and start walking towards her.
I stop at the curb and wait for her.
"Hey Mason." I say as soon as she in front of me.
"Hi parr." She says.

I roll my eyes as she used my last name.

"Why are you calling me by my last name? its weird, so stop."

"No it's not and no I'm not going to stop."

"Whatever." I say as I roll my eyes. Mason just smiles that perfect smile.

I look into her eyes and get lost in them, the way her eyes shine when shes happy, the way the sun is shining down on her beautiful long hair- oh crap i forgot that shes looking at me! Shes probably waiting for me to say something, I just got lost in her eyes those beautiful brown eyes...I need to control myself. My eyes drifted to the floor thinking of what I was going to say, I look back up and remember what is wanted to say to her.
"Hey, Mason I got something to-

'RINNNGGG'

"I guess you will have to tell me at lunch." She says.
I give her a small smile, hoping that lunch will come soon.
"Yeah, I will meet you there."

"Ok"

We walk into school and go our seperate ways. As I'm walking down the hall I think about how I'm going to tell Mason the news about my dad. Although I think she wanted to say something to me too, I could see she was holding back something, I wonder what it was... oh well she will tell me at lunch.

~ MASON'S PROV ~

I walk into my first class (which is science by the way) and take my seat in the back by the window. Staring out the window and not paying attention to the people around me. The teacher walks in after a few minutes and starts the lesson, but I pay no attention as I sit there and just let my mind think over things. Not even a minute later the desk beside me gets taken and a piece of paper is was on my desk. I look down at the piece of paper and read what is says:

'Meet me in the library after school we can study there'

I furrow my brows in confusion until I look to my right and see daniel sitting next to me, staring at me with a smile plastered on his face. He sits there and stares at me like hes waiting for answer, although on the piece of paper it was more of like a demand than a question. I give him a smile and bend over to get my pencil out of my backpack. I decided to write back on the piece of paper and give it to him.

'If I feel like it then maybe'

I hand him the paper back and stare straight ahead, but from the corner of my eye I could see him smile a little while reading the paper. He shakes his head and starts writing on the paper again. After he is done he folds it up and sneakily (well tries to be anyway) puts it on my desk and looks straight forward acting like he is paying attention. My hand reaches out and grabs the paper and I pull it under my desk. Unfolding it I start to read what it says.

'Please? I'll get you food from the vending machine, whatever you like.'

Rolling my eyes I grab my pencil and reply.

'Wow tempting'

Folding the paper back up, I give it to him and wait for him to write back. Once he gives the paper back, I unfold it and see what he wrote.

'Please?'

I look over at him to see him trying to do the puppy eyes. I raise my eyebrows and give him the are-you-serious look, he looks at me and gives me the cheesiest smile he could master. I stare at him for a while with a serious look but that look dadnt last as a smile started to form, I let out a small snort and shake my head and write down my answer.

'Fine'

But before I could pass it the teacher decided to call my name.

"Mason."

"Hmmm" I say ad I look up at the teacher.

"How long does it take for the light to travel from the sun to the earth?"

"Umm.. it takes-"

"It takes 8 minutes and 20 seconds for the light to reach earth." Danielle says.
You look at danielle a little shocked that he had answered for you. He looks at you and smiles then looks back at the front where the teacher was.

"Yes thank you, Mason." The teacher says with sarcasm while staring danielle. The class laughs and danielle just puts his hands up in surrender. The teacher went back to teaching, while I gave him the paper back and watched as he read what I said. He smile and folds the paper back up after he wrote on it and hands it back.

'Great see you then.'

I grab the paper (but not before folding it up) and shove it in my desk and put my attention back on the teacher well I was trying to listen but I couldn't get my mind off about out little meeting in the library after school. 'Why did he ask me to help him, I'm not that smart. He could have asked one of the smarter people in this room, but instead he asks me...
I will just have to find out sooner than later.

Hello everyone I'm back! Sorry I haven't updated for like a month and a half. I got kinda bored with this book and needed to take a break and I also needed to figure out what I was going to do with this book, I dont know if I should just not continue this or finish it for you guys. But after a while I have decided I will finish it for you guys.

I'm also going to try to post every other Saturday and see if that works better. So dont worry I will finish this book!!
