Part 10

~MASON'S PROV~

Waking up to a knock on my door. Opening my eyes and look down only to see Oliver still sleeping beside me. 'Knock, knock, knock.' My eyes look at the door and back at the cat. Then everything from a few hours ago comes back and I realized that my parents still dont know about the cat.

crap

You hurry and grab the cat and cover it with your blanket. Once the door opens your mother pokes her head in. "Hello dear, how was school?"

"It was good." I say as I'm still holding down Oliver.

"That's good. Dinner is done if your hungry."

"Okay." She closes the door and walks back to the kitchen. After she walks away you let out a big sigh and pull your blanket off. Oliver is laying down trying to bite you with his tiny mouth.
"That tickles." You say letting out a small giggle. The cat is still trying to bite you. Hut you got up and removed your hand from his tiny mouth.

"Ok, you stay here, dont make any noises.. I will be back."

"Meow."

You grab the door knob and open the door and walk out. Closing to door behind you so Oliver couldn't get out.
Once your in the kitchen the smell of chicken alfredo hits your nose.

"Mmm, that's smells good."

"Thank you. There's a plate on the counter for you."

"Ok."

You grab the plate and go and dish some noodles out of the pan, then some chicken and went to sit down at the table.

Everyone sits there in silence enjoying there food and the quietness.
That is until you heard a bang in your room. You pretend you didn't here it, but that doesn't work so well.

"What was that noice?" Your mother asks you.

"What noice?" You say trying to act innocent and giving her a confused look.

"There was a bang in your room."

Oh crap. Hurry, just make up some stupid story that could be bealivible... a pigeon hit my window? Or one of my bookshelf broke or fell over? Maybe that could work. But that's not what came out of my mouth.

"I think I left my window open and the wind blew... my.... lamp down?" You say as more of a question then an answer. Your mother and father both raise there eyebrows at you and with the look of i-dont-believe-you all over there faces.

"Maybe.. I should just go see what made that noice." You say and stand up.
"That's a good idea."

"Ok." You say awkwardly and walk off. Once you know your parents cant see you, you run to your room and opened it. There you see Oliver sitting on the floor staring at you. And your books all over the floor.

"Meow."

"Was that a cat I heard?" Your eyes go wide and say the first thing that comes to your mind.
"No mom! It was just... the wind. I left my window open and my books fell down."

"Ok sweetie." You let out a big sigh of relief that she didn't question it even further. Bending down you start picking up your books and putting them away.

~DASH'S PROV ~

I got home and mother started to cook dinner, dad was still at work. I decided to go do my homework then play some video games till dinner is done.

Once my homework was done I started playing video games.

"Dash stop playing video games dinner is done!" Helen yells.

Letting out a sigh I put the video game away and super speed to the kitchen.

"Dash, how many times do I have to tell you not to run around in the house."

"Like a million times." I say with a little sass in my voice.
I look up to see Helen staring at me with a glare, so I decided I am going to just smile.

Helen sets a plate down and walks down the hall.

"Honey." Helen is standing in front of Bob's office.

"Huh? What?" You can nearly here your dad say.

"Dinner's ready."

"Okay."
She takes a few steps, but then stops as she hears voices coming from his office. She walks back to the door.

"Jeopardizing hundreds of millions of dollars..."

"Is someone in there?" You hear her say.

"Its the TV, trying to watch."

"Because of its sensitive nature.."

"Stop. Its dinner time." She tells him again.

"One minute!"

Helen Rolls her eyes and walks back into the dining area and sits down at the table.

We all started eating in peace and quiet making small talk like
'How was school?' Or 'do you have any homework?' Or 'what did you eat for lunch?' But that's it.

We sat there still eating and Bob hasn't come out of the office yet.
Next thing I knew was something spraying down on us and everyone freaking out. I just realized that the sprinklers on our ceiling was going off. I let a smile for in my face.

"Whoo!" I yell.

"Bob!" Helen yells knowing that it was his fault.

Once the sprinklers turned off we all started to clean up, once that was done I went to my room and started to get ready for bed. When i got done changing i walk out and go to the bathroom when I hear my parents talking again.

"The company is sending me to, uh, a conference." Bob says to helen.

"A conference?"

"Out of town. I'm gonna be gone for a couple of days."

"They've never sent you to a conference before.

Huh.. my dad is going to be gone for a few days, alright then. I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth. I went to my room and hoped in my bed. I lay there for a few minutes and just think about everything in life. I start to feel my eyes drooping and role to my side and feel into a deep sleep.

Sorry it took so long to write this episode. I got a new job and it has been busy for me, I didn't have time to write this chapter. Sorry again, also it is going to be slow updates. Hope you guys like this chapter, I didn't really like it but oh well thats just me.
