i picked up another night shift at the hospital i work at which i really didn't wanna do but i need the money so overworking it is.
i was finishing discharge papers for a patient that had a minor asthma attack when this bitchy blonde barbie nurse ruby dropped registration papers right on what i was writing on.
"patient with severe right hand pain, exam room 3", she said while smacking her gum. she then rolled her eyes and walked away.
my hospital has a 0 fighting policy but if it wasn't for that i would've beat her ass a long time ago but i need my job and money.
i finished the discharge papers and bought them to my last patient and have them the asthma care instructions and then headed back to my desk to grab my new patients papers.
once i grabbed them i headed to the room where they were.
i walked in and there were two fine ass boys
one was sitting on his phone on a chair and the other was holding his right wrist in his left hand with a pained expression.
"hi guys i'm y/n and i'll be your nurse tonight"
"hi y/n", they both said.
i smiled at them
"so grayson right?"
"yeah"
"okay cool, i hear you have severe pain in your right hand?"
"yes very bad pain"
"aw man, what happened"
"well i had gotten mad and punched one of our walls only this wall was the one our fire place was connected to and it was made of bricks "
"yeah grayson is a stupid fuck", ethan said.
grayson looked at him and stuck up his other middle finger
you giggled and continued to asses him
"okay grayson your hand definitely looks bruised and swollen, can you move you fingers?".
he shook his head no
"okay that's fine"
"i'm gonna order you an x-ray, radiology will be here soon to get you"
"okay thanks y/n"
grayson's pov
damn she was hot
not to mention she had a very nice ass
she looked so cute concentrated on my hand
and she was really sweet
i need her number or something
something about her i'm just... way too attracted too

"i think i like that nurse..y/n"
"she is pretty bad bro, get her number"
"i want a- ahhhh shit"
i got a really sharp pain that ran through my whole arm. that shit hurt.
after i yelled a few seconds later y/n came running in
"grayson, are you okay?"
she rubbed my forehead and hair back
"yes i'm okay, just a sharp pain"
"okay, i'm gonna check in with radiology and see why they're taking so long"
she gave me a sweet smile and walked out
i looked over to ethan and smirked, he laughed and went back on his phone
about 20 minutes later y/n came back
"hey grayson so radiology is ready for you, i'm gonna walk you down, are you okay to walk, do you need a wheelchair?"
"uhm no i'm okay to walk, ethan i'll be back bro"
"okay"
we walked out the room and i decided to shoot my shot with y/n
"so y/n, how do you like nursing?"
"uhh it's okay, it gets really tiring tho"
"mm i bet, i don't think i could work night shift tho"
"i actually enjoy night shift, not too many people haha"
"i bet you'd have more fun if we worked together", i winked at her.
she blushed and turned away and pressed the button to open the door.
y/n pov
i realized grayson was flirting with me and he's so hot.
"so i seen on your chart that you're 24?"
"yes i ma'am"
"ew that makes me feel like an old lady"
"haha, that's just like people saying sir"
"yeah"
"well grayson we're here i'll wait outside for you to take you back"
"okay thank you y/n"
gray smiled at me and winked
i just smiled back
we're not aloud to have our phones out at work so i just watched whatever was on the small tv
about 5 minutes later grayson was done
"hey how was it"
"it was boring, you weren't in there with me"
"aww, cmon let's walk back"

"so y/n, how old are you?"
"i'm 23"
"hm nice", he smirked and licked his lips.
bitch i bout died and my jawn was soaked
"well grayson here we are, the orthopedic doctor will be in to put on your cast after reviewing your x-ray".
"okay beautiful, thank you"
about an hour later grayson was done and it was time for him to go home so i had to give him his discharge papers and care instructions before he left.

i explained his release forums and his care instructions.
"and here this is a very important piece of paper"
i handed him a green sticky note with my number on it and winked at him.

my job has a strict no dating patients policy so i hope we don't get caught ;)
