He felt the eyes of his fellow Scouts on him. Some with hate, others with pity but none of them dared to go to him. He looked down with his mind all over the place. He was thinking about the three. He knew they didn't want friends, they had a mission and he helped them get in Sina. They became friends, a girlfriend and more. What was real? He knew Annie's love was, but Reiner and Bertholdt? Were they acting this whole time?

"Adriane?" He looked up and saw Eren, Mikasa and Armin. "How are you doing?" Eren asked.

He tried to smile but failed. "I...I...I...don't know." He put his head in his hands. "I just don't know anymore."

Mikasa kneeled and put her hand on his shoulder. "I am sorry." He looked at her. "You have been through more than we can understand. I know no matter what we say, you will feel this pain for all time."

He finally chuckled. "Thanks Mikasa. Way to dig that knife in."

She smiled and stood. Eren nodded. "I am sorry too, but I am glad you are still here with us. We weren't sure if you were going to be locked up."

"We didn't want to see our friend locked up." Armin sat. "But you lost Annie..."

"Yeah." Adriane sighed. "But I do owe you big time Armin." He looked confused. "Commander Smith said you told him about me and her and that it would be best if I wasn't there."

Armin smiled and looked away. "Well, it was just because I thought she might over react if anything happened to you. And you might do something bad to save her. Though, she did plenty of damage anyway."

"I still owe you Armin. You may have saved my life."

Eren sat down too. "Well, we may cash that in soon!"

Adriane smiled. "We'll see." He began to feel a bit better. They talked for a bit longer and he felt like him once more.

A few hours later, we were told that Wall Rose had been breached. Nobody could believe it. Another Wall with a hole to let Titans in. Not only that but the 104th that was out there and had been right in the sights of the Titans. They were diverted to warn other villages that were around and not warned.

We were to go get the ones who hadn't returned yet and then find the hole while killing Titans. I also thought that we might be going to get Reiner and Bertholdt. I hoped so and they would prove me wrong. So, we mounted up and rode out.

The ride there was one of the longest in my life.

"Hey." Jean strolled up on his horse. "So, they just let you back in. No punishment or anything."

"Yeah because people thinking that I may turn on them isn't bad enough." Adriane scoffed. He looked at Jean. "And if you are going to say something else Jean, just say it."

Jean just looked. After a minute he looked away. "I am sorry about what happened."

"What?"

"I...well, we all knew that you two were close. After what I heard what she did to you...I mean I hate her for killing so many of us, but I understand that you still love her." Jean looked back. "Okay, I don't really understand why, but I don't think you are a bad person. So long as you remember who the real bad guys are. Can you do that?"

Adriane smiled. "Oh yeah, I know who the bad guys are. Don't you worry about that."

"Good." He smiled. "Glad to see you are still here."

Adriane then saw a wagon that had Eren, Armin, Mikasa, Hange, Levi and someone else. "Who is the man in the black robe?"

Jean looked. "Pastor Nick of that Wall Cult. He knows something about the Titans in the Walls."
