"shit okay!" i laughed while using my hand to block grayson from splashing water directly at my face.

"c'mon, don't block it. fight back," he demanded with a deep chuckle.

listening to him, i started to splash water back at him; causing a splash war.

my name is brianna henry.

i am going into junior year, meaning i'm sixteen years old.
well actually, i just turned sixteen today.

july 21st.

now, let me tell you, i'm not popular.

i like to stay on the low as the shy, chill girl at school.

i hate drama, i find it so unnecessary.

so i have a small amount of friends.

ethan, grayson, and lydia.

lydia, oh my god, how do i tell you about her.
i loveee her. she's my bestfriend and i can always rely on her.

grayson, he's almost like an older brother to me, technically he acts like it.

ethan, i like him.

i told him about my feelings mid sophomore year and i told him to not lead me on if he doesn't feel the same way back.

guess what, he didn't like me back but he continued to lead me on to this day.

obviously, i should've like ignored him a little while to make him stop messing with my feelings or something but i truly can't.

he gives me a ride to school every morning because grayson and ethan is literally five houses down from me.

and since i haven't gotten my driver's license yet, i can't drive.
hell, i don't even have any cars to drive.

so now, for the family stuff.

my mom and dad are rarely home.
they kind of, forgotten about me.

they don't check up on me anymore.

that leaves, my sixty-two year old grandma to be my guardian at home.

even though she can't do much like work a phone or drive because she has no car, i still love her.

the only way she get to places, like the grocery store is relied by my other grandma, which is from my dad's side.
i love her too.

my parents are planning on coming back and buying a new car for me so i don't bother ethan to give me a ride so much.

i don't know when though.

"incoming!" someone shouted which seemed like from above the pool.
