brianna's pov

we walked into school together as i threw my backpack over my shoulders.

from a small distance, i noticed lydia walking towards us with a huge grin on her face.

"heyy bitches," lydia said happily while giving me a hug and flipping off ethan off.

"damn. what did i ever do to you?" ethan pretend to be offended.

"be annoying," lydia joked while keeping her arms wrapped around my shoulder.

"okay then i guess i'll go to class," he said sadly while slowly started to walk away.

"hey. no no," i demanded while grabbing his arm, making lydia's arm fall off of me. "class doesn't start until five more minutes."

"but she hates me," ethan pouted while giving me the sad eye.

"but i don't," i said to make him feel better.

"oh yay," his face lit up while grabbing the straps of his backpack.

"did you guys hear that there's a new student coming in next week?" lydia asked us.

"is it a boy or a girl?" ethan asked curiously.

"it's a boy," she answered.

"is he cute?" i gasped being excited if he was going to be attractive.

"i have no idea but let's hope so," lydia smirked at me with wiggling her eyebrows.

"i thought i was the hot one here," ethan said cockily as a joke right when he put his arms around my shoulder.

"you wish dolan," lydia scoffed underneath her breath.

i let out a small giggle right before i felt like i was being stared at.

it made me pause for a little bit, curiously wondering why i feel like someone is staring my ass off right now.

i looked around, finally noticing that vanessa and camilla were staring at me and ethan from a far distance.

stupid ass thots.

ignoring them, i looked back at lydia who was reading something off her phone.

"party at brennan's saturday night," lydia said before ethan pulled out his phone.

"throw ass or get kicked out," ethan and lydia both read at the same time from their phone.

"jinx," lydia said quickly without ethan saying the same thing.

"fuck," ethan groaned as he rolled his eyes.

"aha! soda tomorrow," lydia pat ethan's shoulder while putting her phone back in her pocket.

"did you get the notification?" ethan asked me since my phone didn't vibrate.

i nodded my head, "yeah, my phone is just in my backpack."

"so you down to go?" lydia asked with an evil smirk, ready to throw ass.

"i can't. i have to clean," i responded since i'm a neat freak.

"okay miss clean ass. good luck with that shit," lydia said before giving me a small smile then walking away.

not even remembering, ethan still had his arms over me and i was curious to why he hasn't put it down yet.

"my house after school?" he asked to make a conversation.

"sure," i shrugged.

"i told you, this shit's confusing!" ethan shouted at me, making a statement that he's dumb.

"you just suck, give me the pencil," i demanded while started to write down some tips.

"i hate pre-calculus," he complained while getting off the couch.

"it's easy when you get the hang of it. plus, it's only the first month," i said loudly so he was able to hear me from wherever he is.

"i'm sorry that you're just sooo smart that you can pass whatever class you'd like," ethan mocked my intelligence with a teasing tone.

"shut up," i scoffed with a laugh while hearing him open the fridge.

"lemonade or water?" he asked, offering to get me a drink.

"vodka," i replied as a joke.

"lemonade coming right up," he said while getting the lemonade out.

after i finished my small notes, i turned around to see him pouring lemonade into two cups.

he put the lemonade back inside the fridge and walked over to me with the drinks in his hand.

"okay. what did you write down now?" he asked, making it seemed like he was interested.

"read it and find out," i sassed at him sarcastically while reaching for one of the lemonade.

"hey, hey, hey. who do you think you are? the princess? i got these two drinks for me," he joked while grabbing the cups away from me.

"stop playing," i let out a chuckle while shaking my head.

a second later, he grinned and gave the cup to me.
then the sound of the garage door caught our attention.

"ughh, yuck. grayson's home," ethan rolled his eyes in annoyance while leaning back on his seat.

a few seconds later, grayson came in and he had food in his hands.

i gasped loudly, "are those chicken wings?" i guessed since ethan told me earlier that grayson was getting us food.

"yes my children. eat up," grayson said while putting the food on the kitchen table.

i hopped off my seat and happily skipped to the table.

"yummy," i rubber my hands together before getting the chicken wings out of the bag.

in the corner of my eye, i could see ethan walking towards the chair besides me.

"hey, is it okay if every monday, we drop off kate at her house. her mom works more hours on monday and kate can't drive yet," he said while making eye contact with me.

i nodded my head, "yeah of course."

getting comfortable on my chair, we all started eating while having small and simple conversations.
