chill song

|wednesday|
brianna's pov

i shut the door after i got out and started walking ahead of ethan towards the school.

he didn't say anything, it didn't even seem like he was behind me.

i took a quick glance behind me to see that he went the other way, something he rarely does.

i walked towards my locker to grab my textbook for the day and put it in my backpack.

shit it's so heavy.

i started heading to class and accidentally bumped into brandon in the hallways.

"oh my bad brianna," he stopped mid-conversation with his buddy to apologize.

"no you're good," i sent a small smile to assure him.

"wait, wait," he stopped walking with his friends, turned around and started walking my way.

"wassup?" i asked interestingly.

"i need help with something. do you have mrs. smith?" he asked hoping for a yes.

"yeah, why?" i said as i stopped in front of my class.

"did you get the class work from her, like a yellow packet?" he asked.

"yeah. that was due two classes ago," i said it like he should've known that.

"yeah.. uh.. well it's late for me but if i don't turn it in, it'll drop my grade down 3 percent and i'm already at a C," he said in a guilty tone.

"okay i'll send you the packet tonight. i left it at home," i insisted as a good friend.

"thank you so much bro. you're the best," his face lit up into a smile.

"of course. see you around," i waved goodbye as i walked into my class.

my eyes drifted off my paper, upwards towards the back of kian's shirt in front of me.

jersey number 18, lawley.

i tapped on his shoulder, causing him to turn around to face me.

"you play soccer?" i asked with a raised eyebrow.

"yeah. i use to play when i was little behind my dad's back. i love soccer with my life. but when he found out, he was mad. so i had to stop but now i can finally play with my team," he said with a happy smile.

i was quite shocked with how controlling his dad was but yet so happy that he's pursuing his dreams.

"what position?" i asked since i use to play soccer as a little kid.

"forward," he responded.

"are you good?" i asked, making it seem like i was challenging him.
