Steven's pov
Did I have everything? Connie is going to come and visit tomorrow, so this needs to be perfect.
"Steven, what's wrong?" Pearl suddenly asked, taking me out of my thoughts. "You've been spacing out for the past couple of minutes. Is there something on your mind?"
Just the thought actually telling Connie how I actually felt about her made my face heat up. Out of embarrassment, I covered my face.
"Nothing much Pearl. Everything is fine. Nothing for you to worry about." I sighed. It really wasn't anything for her to worry about.
"Doesn't saying that it's nothing mean it's usually something?" She inquired.
When did she learn that? Before I could answer l, Amethyst barged into the house.
"Steven, is what Garnet said true?" She yelled, noting how Pearl was also in the room.
"I-um.....maybe?" I answered, know Garnet had used her future vision.
"What did Garnet say?" Pearl asked, becoming impatient knowing that there was something that I wouldn't tell her.
I looked over at Amethyst, begging her not to say anything. Guess she didn't get the hint.
"He's gonna tell Connie how he feels." She exclaimed, making Pearl gasp and me try to get away.
"Steven! Why didn't you want to tell me that?" Pearl asked.
I stopped in my tracks and turned, my entire face red. "It's kinda embarrassing."
The both of them started to laugh. I honestly don't find what so funny.
"Steven, I don't think you have to worry about anything. Connie must feel the same as you if she took care of you while you were injured." Pearl told me once she stopped laughing.
After standing there for a few seconds, I realized I still had to finish setting the surprise up. "I have to go finish doing something. I'll see you guys later."
I ran out of the house and up onto the hill. The view was perfect.
"I really good this works out."

I am so sorry for not being able to update this story....in fact, all of my stories. I haven't been allowed to go on Wattpad for a while now. I'll update another chapter hopefully in 2 days.
I hope you can all forgive me.
