Chapter 19

Laura's POV

I left Brittany's place around eight this morning. When I got home I saw a note on the door:

Laura,

Your dad and I got a call from work. We have to take a little business trip to New York for a few weeks. There's some extra cash in the emergency box if you need it and some McDonalds in the kitchen. Call us if you need anything.

Love,
Mom

Great, now I'm gonna be even more alone in my own house. I crumpled up the note and threw it on the ground. Getting my keys from out of my purse, I opened the door and walked in. The scent of the oh-so-famous Egg McMuffin filled my nose as I walked towards the kitchen.

I cannot wait to devour this.

I had just finished eating my delicious Egg McMuffin when the house phone started to ring. I checked the caller ID: unknown. I didn't feel like answering, so I let it go to voicemail.

"Uh, hey Laura. It's Ross..."

What. The. Fuck.

How does he even have this number?!

"I called because I wanna tell you that I'm sorry, and that I made a huge mistake. You mean the world to me, Laur. I really cannot forgive myself for how many times I've screwed up. I miss you, baby..."

By now it sounded like he was crying. He was crying?

He sniffles, then continues. "Um, I wanna meet up with you. Friday, at Starbucks around 2:30 p.m. I really wanna talk to you. I hope you'll be there. I love you, always."

The phone cuts off, leaving me speechless. I hurried to the phone and called Brittany to hear what she thinks about this.

She finally picks up, "Hey, Laur!"

"Brittany, you'll never believe what just happened." I gasped.

"Oh my gosh, what?"

"Ross just called. He wants to meet up with me Friday at Starbucks. He says he misses me and he loves me. It almost sounded like he was crying."

"Seriously?"

"Yes, seriously!" I stood up and started to walk around. "I don't know what to do."

"Go meet up with him! You know guys would never confess that they love someone if they really mean it."

"You think so?"

"I know so. Go talk to him - you know you want to."

A/N:

So this is kinda a filler chapter because chapter 20 is gonna be the big chapter, so expect some drama out of that

Also, I've decided to name the guy in my RL (Ross Lynch) fanfic Cameron Rider :)

Credit to @eyeamJamie for the name! It took me a really long time to decide, but I came across this one and thought this was a good name

The prologue for Beach Girl will most likely be posted sometime this weekend. I won't be able to update as much next week because on Tuesday, I'll be driving back home from Las Vegas. I'm also moving so that'll take up a major part in my time

So yeah I hope you guys will understand and keep reading! lol I didn't know what to say :p
