Thomas POV

There was a few minutes before we would have to go to class, so we were all walking around, just looking at posters and stuff.

"Amy, you should really join a club. You need to be more social and you being in your house all day just reading isn't a way to get your confidence up." Sophie said, looking at fliers on the walls for clubs.

"I don't really think that's necessa-"

"How about the cooking club?" Sophie cut in. "Thomas, your in that club right?"

I looked at the flier, then responded with a nod. "That's great! You could help Amy with the club itself, and with her interaction skills." She said looking more closely at the paper for details. "Well yeah. The club is everyday after school. There are perks, because you get an excuse to leave class early, and you would be at the club one hour after school." I explained to Amy. She looked down.

"I-I don't know. I don't think I would be good a cooking. I'm going to be honest, I'm scared to be around ovens and stuff because I'm afraid to burn myself or something I may be making. Every time I try to cook, I always burn something." She said, still looking down and talking in a voice that was quiet. I put my hand on her shoulder.

"Oh come on, I was a horrible, and I mean HORRIBLE, cook. I joined the club about two months ago and I've improved a lot. I used to burn everything too-"

"Yeah, you would say he almost burned down the house, am I right?" Jeffery cut in, sitting next to Joey.

"Jeff, shut it." I said rolling my eyes. "Anyways, pretty much everyone who is in the class started of bad, but we improved. You should really join." I said scratching the back of my head. She looked up at me then nodded. "Alright, I guess it wouldn't hurt to try." She said. I gave her a high five. "I promise it will be fun. I won't leave you alone since sometimes it can be overwhelming. It's a really cool club filed with good people, so don't worry. Later after school we'll go to the club and we can sign you in." I said with a smile. She smiled back and nodded.

"Are you done?" Joey said looking bored.

"Ugh, yes we are 'done' Joey." I said, rolling my eyes.

The bell rung, signaling that it is time for class. I had first period with Joey so we all went are separate was then went to Homeroom.

***********

I hate math so much.

I had this class with Amy and Joey. Amy was a really quiet girl, and sits next to this ginger-haired boy and Joey sits in front of her. The teacher was trying to keep his cool.

"Zack, I have told you time and time again. Stop. Interrupting. My class." The teacher said, rubbing his temples trying to calm himself down. Also, to keep his sanity.

"This is all crap! 98 percent of what we learn in this prison is crap! Literally, the bell is a prison bell, just with a higher pitch!" The kid Zack said, banging his hands, or should I say fists, on the table. Amy flinched.

"Zack, just shut it." A boy said behind him.

"The day he does that is the day we see the face of god." A girl with black hair said, and the girl sitting next to her started to laugh, along with a few other students.

"I just want to get through with this lesson! So let me-"

  *RIIIIIING*

The teacher hit his head on the desk.

  "Just leave."

After School
*******************

Me and Amy were walking down a hall, leading to classes where clubs would be hosted at. She was playing with her hair. I knew whenever she did that, she was nervous.

"Hey Amy, it's gunna be fun. Everyday week just learn to make something new, and at the end of the week, we make the food in our own for the rest of the kids there. It's like a community. Everyone is nice." I said, as reassuringly. She smiled then nodded, with a simple 'okay'.

We entered, and only a few kids were there. Me and Amy arrived about 6 minutes early, so we had time to talk to people and stuff like that.
