Thomas POV:

Right now, me and Amy were talking with 2 girls. One was named Miranda, and she had shoulder length brown curly hair, who was a really smart and funny girl. The other girl we were talking to was Katherine. Her hair was super short, almost like a boy, and the color was pitch black. They were around the same height, though, Miranda being a bit taller and older. From what I've heard, they have been friends for a few years now and since they never spent time together anymore, they decided joining a club together would be fun. Katherine suggested the art club, but Miranda wanted to make macaroons a lot, so Katherine caved in.

"So you're Amy right?" Katherine said, and somewhat tilted her head to the side, examining her.

"Yeah, I decided to join the club since everyone suggested it." Amy said, hiding behind her hair as usual.

  "Can you cook?"

"Not really. I get scared next to an oven. Pretty dumb huh?" Amy said shyly and laughing a bit.

"Nope! I mean, I have a fear of thunderstorms. Your fear is reasonable. It's just you being safe." Katherine said with a smile.

"What about you? Can you cook?"

"The most I can cook is a cake and toast if that counts," Katherine said with a chuckle. "And Miranda over there is good at cooking a few things. More than me at least." She said with a smile, looking back at her friend, who looked like she wanted to throw the cook book out the window.

"Ugh! This is dumb." Miranda said, looking at a recipe and back at the stove.

  "What's wrong?" I asked her.

"The book says to hear this up at 420 degrees but I've been taught to cook it at 360 degrees and it has turned out so amazing! I don't underst-"

"PFFFT, HA!" Katherine laughed, closing her eyes and putting her head down on the desk that was provided in the room.

"What's so funny??" Miranda asked confused.

"Yeah, I don't get what's funny either..." I said, confused as well. Next to me, Amy was chuckling as she sat next to a laughing Katherine.

"What is wrong with you two?" Miranda asked, somewhat amused and confused at the same time.

"What- hehe-... *ahem* what does the book want you to put the temperature at?" Katherine said smiling and laughing a bit in the middle of her sentence a few times.

"420?........."

"420 praise it? More like 420 blaze it." Amy said smiling and laughing after she said her sentence.

"Why praise when you can blaze!?" Katherine finished, laughing her ass off.

I started chuckling a bit, while Miranda looked at her friend, questioning her life choices it seemed.

"You. Can't. EVER. Be professional, can you?" Miranda asked Katherine, and Katherine have a response by laughing and nodding.

"I could be." She said after her laugh fest with Amy. "But just not today." She said with a cheeky grin.

"The temptation to throw this book at you is incredible." Miranda said, smiling but trying to act mean. She started putting the cook book away, since class would start very soon.

"Mhm, sure." Katherine said, kicking up her feet on the desk.

"Alright!" Mr.Hester said in a booming voice. He was the person who made sure the kids running the club knew what they were doing, then left.
