Harry's POV

"Why didn't I know you're that good with music? You're my bestfriend and bestfriends don't hide anything from eachother." I kept on bugging Taylor as the both of us are currently stauck on New York traffic.

"Because you didn't ask and if I tell you, you wouldn't believe me." She answered.

"You just saved the lot of us from being too burned out to function. And you are better at playing the guitar than me."

"Yeah, music is like my first love, that was before I even became a doctor." She answered coolly. There is something about her that makes being stuck in New York traffic so amazing. I don't even know but if she's not here with me right now my brains would be fried, and I will not stop honking the horn like the others.

"You have to like teach me play the guitar." I suggest.

"Um, Hello? Harry's brain if there is any in there, have you seen a guitar or just a single string on my apartment?" She asks sarcastically making me laugh but I'm sure that if it isn't her who asked me like that I'd be fuming by now. I don't like smartass people but I guess she's an exception. I don't even like my sister talking to me like that.

"You earn tons of money yet you can't even buy a guitar and you claim that music is your first love." I shake my head.

"I don't even have time for myself." That's true, she doesn't have time for herself but she'd make time for me and I'm speechless about that.

She had a blast at the studio today. She even managed to contribute production ideas that amazed both John and Julian. I know for a fact that Taylor is a great singer, the woman can sing well, but what amazed me more is that she's so good at basically everything she loves (music is her first love anyways) like I can't even play the guitar well and music is what I do for a living. Not to mention that she's great at putting lyrics together too. The longer I spend time with her, the more she becomes a puzzle to me, a puzzle I'm willing to solve no matter how long it takes and no matter how confusing it might get.

"I wouldn't be surprised if you have a notebook at home that's full of songs that you wrote." I smirked at her and she just turned into a deep shade of pink.

"Infact I do." She answers and I could feel my mouth drop open.

"Really? I wanna hear it."

"How about no?" She teased.

"I know, You'll play it for me, I'm your bestfriend. You love me." I answered her and for a minute I think I saw her blushing but maybe she wasn't.

"I hate you. And I will not play it for you because I don't have a guitar, so stop." She said smiling and I shook my head as the traffic moved and I weirdly enough I wished it didn't.

We reached her apartment in no time and I immediately raided her kitchen.

"Dinner's on me tonight, what do you have in mind?" I yelled from the kitchen but Taylor didn't answer and it annoyed me.

"Hey Tay!" I yelled again and this time she came in the kitchen.

"What? You lost or something?" She replied.

"Um no, I'm being nice here alright? What do you want me to cook for dinner?" I said nicely.

"Oh um. Dinner, I'm going out for dinner tonight. Sorry Haz."

When I heard her say that I kind of felt stupid. Really stupid. I guess I should have asked her first if she has other plans which I was quite sure she hasn't up until she said she has. We always ate dinner together and she's been bugging me to cook for us but now that I am going to she's gonna cancel on me and mind you this I'll be flying tomorrow for the tour.
