Harry's POV
"What?"
I watched as Taylor's face turned into the emotion of something in between shock and horror.
And I get it. I get why she's acting like this. and I wanna laugh but I can't, you know I can't.
She never said a single word while we are in the hotel and all she could say now that we are inside my rover is what.
"I'm taking you home." I repeated smiling.
"Like I'm gonna meet your family? Go to Cheshire and all that?" She asks still sporting the same expression
"Yes love, don't tell me you're scared now."
"I'm not. Just surprised, hey what about Selena and Karlie I can't ghost them."
"You're not ghosting anyone. Liam texted me that they're on our tail. So don't worry."
"What will the boys do there? And wouldn't it be rude of me to bring my friend's unannounced?"
I chuckled. She's so worried and nervous.
"Hey, Lover, you need to calm down," I laughed holding her hand.
Which is unusually shaky and cold.
"It's been announced, my family knows. And nothing would be rude because it's a tradition. The boy's families are all there that's why they missed todays celebration."
She looked at me.
"So you guys have your own party?"
"Yes. It's a tradition and this year I'm the host. Timing, literally, works so mysteriously sometimes."
"Ok, and hey did you just call me lover?" She asks her expression teasing and still disbelieving
"Yes I did. Aren't you though?"
"Aren't I what?" She propped her legs on the dashboard
"My Lover."
She giggled.
"Harry Styles' Lover. I think I could get used to that." She responded still giggling.
"You should be." I nodded my head.
"But you, being my lover. Is a very different thing. I think I'll never get used to that." She says in a teasing sort of way but also in somewhat a serious tone.
I looked at her puzzled but she looked away.
"So what's Cheshire like?" She changed the topic and I thought of her question and even I got myself asking the same question.
What's Cheshire like?
Cheshire is
"Cheshire is just like you and New York," I searched her blue eyes,
"It's Home." I breathed out and then her cheeks blushed.
She stared at me, and I'm trying so hard to focus on the road but she's like gravity, pulling me back every time.
"You give me premature ventricular contractions, did you know that?" she says smiling fondly at me.
"I guess that's a nice thing?" I ask, feeling a bit dumb. but then again I'm talking to one of New York's finest doctors.
