May 14, 2016 (New York City)

It was a very dull yet busy day for Taylor. There wasn't anything new in the hospital except for maybe her work load is far too heavier than she's ever remembered. She couldn't help but sigh thinking about it every time.

It took all of her exhausted self not to beg Harry to spend his few remaining hours in New York City in the hospital with her, she could surely use his presence as much as possible and the fact that he's taking off in a few hours and will not be back for months is making her day more horrible than it usually is.

It was still early when she got in the hospital, she contemplated getting another coffee before she could even start with anything else but as she approached the door of her office a familiar figure was leaning on a wall by the door.

It's funny how ever since she got back, this is the very first time the doctor ever attempted to approach her. Sure they had small talk every time they pass each other in hallways or something like that but seeing him leaning in a wall by her office door is entirely a different story.

When she neared the door, the other doctor stood up straight and offered a warm smile Taylor gladly returned.

"Good Morning, Doc Joe." She greeted taking not that he hated being called Joseph.

"Good Morning, Doc Taylor. I hope you don't mind me waiting here for you like a creepy stalker or anything." He started making Taylor chuckle as she unlocked the door to her office.

She gestured for him to come in, and the doctor obliged. It was the first time he'd ever stepped inside her office and all he could do was take in how it resonated Taylor so much.

Her table was neat, adorned by a computer and three small picture frames. One containing a picture of her family, the other of her, Karlie and Selena from a year ago, and the other was of her and Harry taken during their trip in Jamaica.

Joe knew that he was starting at the picture but he couldn't help it. She looked beautiful in all of them, especially her picture with Harry where she was wearing a red dress basking in the glow of the setting sun by the beach, smiling brightly all while Harry dropped a kiss in the crown of her head.

"So, what can I do for you?" Taylor asked politely pulling him away from his thoughts.

"Oh, I just heard from the records that you've been looking for a certain case yesterday, did you happen to find any?" He asked getting straight to the point.

"Not really..." She lied, she still hasn't gone over all the files she's borrowed yesterday because all of her plans in working on her research went straight out of the window the moment she and Harry were rather occupied with each other all night.

"Well then It's really very convenient that I am currently working on a case like that right now and I would be more than Happy to share the files I have right now." The doctor smiled at her before fishing out a rather thin envelope from his bag and handed it to Taylor.

Taylor took it, scanned the file. It was definitely what she's looking for.

"You just saved so much time. Thank you." Taylor beamed

"Oh not really," the other doctor scratched the back of his head

"It's still unfinished you see and I suppose it will take months before it's filled with necessary data. er, You can visit my patient if you want." He says nervously making Taylor shake her head.

After being in each others company from time to time, you would've thought he'd be less nervous around her now.

"It's all good Doc Joe, I didn't need in depth data anyway, just enough to make a necessary point. Thank You." She answered setting the envelope down her desk and he felt rather disappointed that they don't need to spend time working on it.
