"Hello, everyone! Thank you for coming today. Ruxin and I are so happy we have such close friends and family." Eva says, to the crowd. I watch Ruxin and can't help but smile, he looks bored and not nearly as happy as his wife. "If I can ask our best friends Xavier and Piper to come up here for a minute. Please." Eva says, grinning.

Stunned I look at Xavier who smirks and holds his hand out for me as we walk to where Eva and Ruxin are standing. Then I see a streak of dark hair running through the crowd coming towards us. A smile lights Ruxin's face until I see Xavier bend down and Serena throw herself into Xavier's open arms. He stands up with her as Ruxin rolls his eyes at them. Clearly jealous.

I try to fight the giggle that escapes, Ruxin notices and turns towards me. "You better have a little girl first. I want him to know how it feels." Ruxin whispers, glaring at Xavier.

I nod. "I'll do what I can. If I have a boy, though. We'll name him after you." I whisper, jokingly. Ruxin lifts his eyebrow mischievously.

"Really?" He asks, smirking.

I just nod in response, because Eva picks up from where she left her speech after telling Serena to wave to everyone. "We've asked Xavier and Piper, who are soon to be married. If they would be the godparents to this little guy and they graciously accepted." There is an applause and I smile.

Ruxin takes the microphone. "I would also like to tell everyone here what Piper just told me, that has literally made me beyond happy." My mouth drops, oh, shit! And he continues. "She assures me that the first Sterling boy will be named, Ruxin after me." There are a few oh's and awe's from the crowd. "I just wanted to thank her from the bottom of my heart. That really means a lot to me, I'm so glad we became friends." He states, smiling at Xaviers confused face. Ruxin hands the microphone back to Eva and he kisses my cheek then hugs me. "You're the best."

Eva applauds and looks at me, smiling. I smile back and shrug.

"He's going to kill me." I say, hugging him back.

He smirks, "No, it will kill him. Now, he'll know how I feel when my precious daughter chooses him over me."

I shake my head amused. "Good thing I honestly love that name." I mutter under my breath, making him chuckle.

Eva, hugs us both and takes Serena from Xaviers arms as she walks back to her table. The rest of the guests start to eat lunch and turn their backs on us, preoccupied with eating.

Xavier looks at me perplexed over what just happened. "Isn't that something you discuss first?" He asks, suspiciously.

I wince and shrug. "Sorry, I just really like that name." I say, truthfully.

He glances at a smug looking Ruxin. "Boy or girl, they'll be named Ruxin. I'm hoping its a girl."

"Good. If its a girl we'll have something to bond over." Ruxin says, not caring at all.

"By the way, love the desk in your office. Such a perfect height." Xavier states, simply as he takes my arms and walks away.

I turn back to look at a disgruntled looking Ruxin and shake my head no, telling him we didn't use his desk. The relief on his face is obvious.

"It was his idea wasn't it?" Xavier asks, as we make our way to the table to eat.

"Actually, it was mine." I tell him.

He looks down at me his eyes narrowed. "I don't believe you."

I laugh at his scrutiny. "Well, its the truth. Its a great name."

"Since you picked the first name I get to pick his middle name."

I nod. "Okay, what's it going to be?"

"Xavier, and we'll call him by his middle name." He states, adamantly.

Cleaning up after the baby shower is a lot of work. I help put boxes in the nearly complete nursery and smile when Serena makes Xavier play tea party with her. When its all done I go to find him and peek into Serena's room with Eva at my side. The sight of Xavier in full makeup clearly the work of the hostess of the Tea party, Serena herself. I notice that Ruxin didn't escape the makeover either. Only, he has much more glitter on his eyes than Xavier and no crown, just a very wide brim hate with flowers.

"So, cute." I whisper, as Serena pour the tea and encourages both men to have a scone.

"I'm sorry to break up the party, love. But its time to say goodbye to uncle Xavier and Aunt Piper." Eva announces.

Serena's lower lip comes out, making for an adorable crushed expression. "Xavier can stay, but I have to get going. Can I have a hug?" Serena nods happy once more and runs to me wrapping her arms around my legs.

"I better go too, munchkin." Xavier says, getting up from his crouched position.

"No!" Serena pouts, sadly.

"I have to. I need to try and make you a cousin." He states, bending down for a hug.

"A cousin?" She asks, excitedly.

"A baby, Ruxin." Ruxin states, amused.

Xavier shakes his head. "He or she will be so disappointed in their name." He states, unhappily.

"I have an idea! Why don't we name this one Xavier?" Eva asks, loving the idea.

"Hell no." Ruxin states, not liking the thought one bit.

"Yay! Baby Uncle Xavier!" Serena yells, clapping happily.

Xavier grins. "Personally, I love it." He say, smiling widely.

"Me too! Me too!" Serena states, running around.

"You just couldn't let me have this one, could you?" Ruxin asks, Eva suspiciously.

"I think its cute! It will tie our families together." She says, stating to cry. I rub her back, trying to comfort her but she cries even harder.

"I think its perfect." I tell her, being supportive.

Ruxin groans. "Not the tears." Eva, hiccups between drying her eyes. "Fine. Xavier it is." He gives in walking to his wife and putting his arms around her.

Okay, I wrote three chapters today...I can't see straight anymore. Let me know of any mistakes! I appreciate it! XO
