"Honey, I didn't want you to be pulled into any of this," I stood sobbing into my farther shirt while he patted my head, "I never wanted you to get swooped up in this, whenever I moved here after your mother's death, the pack hadn't resided there. Whenever you turned two I left you in Maria's care and that's when they moved needing more land, I'm so sorry for never telling you about what I really do," I shook my head.

Jonathan brought me home two hours ago. My dad sat at the kitchen table awaiting my arrival along with Alice. He told me everything, and I mean everything. My dad is a werewolf hunter so was my mother. She didn't die during birth, a werewolf killed her on a hunt while she was pregnant with me. An emergency c-section was preformed that saved me. He also told me where she's buried at.

I pulled away from my father, "That's not what I came here to say," I whipped my eyes and looked at the clock.  My dad looked at me like he new it was coming and Alice came to his side.

"We know what you came here to say," I looked at her curious as to what she had to say, "Luna," she bowed her head in respect.

"Your one of them?" She nods her head.

"I'm in Paitens pack."

My eyes widened and I looked up at my father, "Evangeline I can explain," I shook my head.

"I guess you don't need me to explain. I'm going to grab some stuff then I'll be out if you hair," my dad grabbed my arm.

"Evangeline I don't want you out of my hair. I don't even want you out of this! I wanted and still do want a normal life for you!" I shook my head.

"Normal I don't even know what that means anymore," I whisper and turned my back to him, "I'm-" I took a deep breath, "I'm going to be Luna. I'm going to rule by Jonathan's side as his equal. I will no longer be weak!"

"Honey you were never weak!" I shook my head and went up to my old room slamming the door behind me. I looked around the room. Books litter the place, my old pairs of glasses sat in a mason jar on my desk, and my bed was disbelief and unmade.

Grabbing a duffel bag from my closet I stuck clothes in it then grabbed a suit case sticking my books inside. My heart broke when I had to leave a few behind. I hauled the suit case and duffel bag down the stairs, "Evangeline you not leaving," my farther confronted me.

"Yes I am, and you can't stop me," he grabbed the strap to my duffel bag.

"I can and I will," he yanked on the strap making me tumble down. Knocking over a glass vace that laid at the end of the stairs. He bent down next to me, "Your not going anywhere!" Alice grabbed his arm.

"You can't stop her from leaving, the Alpha will have my head if you you do," I looked down at the shattered vace and back at the sene unfolding before me.

"I will protect you both! We- we just need to get out of town! Yes, we can go far far away where no on will find us," Alice pulled my father up. With her hands on either side of his face she looked deeply into his eyes.

I took this as my chance to get away quickly standing up, but stepping on the glass I slipped back trying to catch myself as I fell. As I did so glass shards spread all over and as I fell on my ass glass shards stuck to the back of my thighs and hands.

Alice and my dad stared down at me as I sat shocked with glass stuck to me. The door took this time to swing open and Jonathan looked at the scene before him quickly rushing over to swoop me up.

"What happened?" He asked. I shook my head.

"I slipped," he put me down outside the door I attempted to brush off the glass shards blood trickled down some of the scrapes.

"Evangeline you can't be that clumsy," he smirked. I looked into his eyes smiling also.

"Oh, but I am," I laughed. He seemed to lighten the mood and atmosphere around him.

"Do you have your stuff ready?" I nodded my head and he went back inside, coming back out with my suit cases in tow, "so, are you bringing bricks?"

"Nope something even better! Books!" He gave me a Are-you-for-real look as I have him one of my million dollar smiles.

"We have a library you know that right?" I sobered up.

"No," I crossed my arms and humphed. We hopped in his car and left the house that now held so many foul memories.
