Six years later

"Evangeline it's time," I shook my head breaking down in tears.

"No, let's try again," Jonathan shook his head patting my back.

"We've tried for the past six years, honey. It time to tell the pack, and they will accept Liam as our heir he's one of us," I shook my head.

"They won't accept it! They're all going to hate me, I have failed them!" I sobbed into my pillow.

"They're not going to hate you, they will understand," a knock at the door made me sit up and frantically while my face. Liam walked in our room a smile planted on his face.

I looked over at Jonathan and he nodded his head, "aunty have you been crying?" He sat next to me and gently brought his hand to my face. My sweet sweet boy.

"I'm not crying," I said smiling and bringing my hand to touch his.

"Liar! Is it because I'm ten today?" I nodded my head.

"Yes, oh how you've grown! My sweet sweet boy," I scooped him up panting kisses all over him. He giggles.

"Stop aunty stop! Your not going to embarrass me at my birthday party today right?" I let him out of my grasp and smirked.

"I haven't decided yet," he looked up at Jonathan with pleading eyes.

"Don't let her in my party ok?" I laughed and mimicked an expression of hurt.

"No can do little guy, I have to sleep with her. She might suffocate me in my sleep," he said with a wink. I playfully punched his arm as he ruffled Liam's hair.

"We still have a few arrangements to make. Do you want to go with me to get your cake?" I asked.

"Yes! Let's go, let's go, let's go!" Liam yanked my arm trying to get me up.

"Ok ok, go grab my keys and wait for me in the car," with a nod of his head he dashed down stairs and I starred after him standing up.

Jonathan came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my small frame, "tonight we will announce the news."

I sighed, "ok," after pecking Jonathan on the cheek I walk down the stairs going to the garage. Hopping in my car I smile as Liam excitedly bounces up and down in the passengers seat.

"Hurry let's go get the cake!" I shifted gears and pulled out of the garage heading towards town.

"So, Liam," started a conversation turning down the radio.

"Yes, auntie?"

"You know what Jonathan is going to give you as your birthday present?" Liam became quite and sat still. The rest of the car ride we sat in silence with the hum of the radio.
