and that feels so rough.
Just when Millie thought that the van incident couldn't get any worse, day twenty-second suddenly happened.
It was when they were filming a new episode for season three. Millie was just mindlessly scrolling through her Instagram feed in her dressing room (that she shares with Sadie) when she suddenly came across a 'Fillie' fan made video.
Millie couldn't deny the fact that the video was well done and the editor deserved a recognition, so she gave the post a like.
Seconds later, thousands of accounts started attacking her with tags and commenting stuff like,
"MILLIE LIKED"
"FILLIE IS REAL"
"NO IT ISN'T THEY'RE JUST KIDS"
"JDKDJDSJS"
And many more frustrating comments that gave Millie the strong urge to just leave the app and turn off her phone.
Just thinking about the idea of her friendship with Finn being completely nonexistent as the shippers overreact more with every interaction they share made her want to just quit the challenge and face whatever consequences the host gives her instead of dealing with the same bullshit for . . . seventy-eight more days.
And then she thought about the way Finn would still have that same strangely adorable wide-eyed and flustered reaction every time she tells him she loves him.
Millie realizes that the challenge gives her an advantage somehow, because this way she could share at least little moments with him like they used to.
Millie loved sharing moments with him, though they barely share one now.
She guesses it's better than nothing at all.
"You watched Fillie edits again?" Sadie asks without looking up from her phone.
"I didn't purposely watch it, I just came across one," Millie defends.
Sadie snorts, "You say that every day."
Millie was about to protest but she was almost too tired to even inhale oxygen so she just laid her head back on the couch and groans.
