you don't have to fear, you don't have to fear.
Day forty-sixth, the next morning, Millie woke up with Sadie poking her cheeks. The younger grunts and grabbed her finger harshly, "what the fuck, Sadie?" she complains, squinting her eyes from the sunlight across the window.
"Okay first of all, language. I'm still older than you," Millie grabs the closest pillow and threw it to the redhead, but she still caught and tosses it the other way, "and second of all, the cast are going somewhere very important, have you forgot about that?"
Millie stops rubbing her eyes and abruptly sits up, "is it about Finn? Did he not go home last night? Told him I should've just dragged him home with me-"
"What?" Sadie interrupts confusingly, she eyes Millie, squinting, "what happened to you guys last night?"
"Nothing," Millie says quickly.
Sadie curiously moves closer to the younger, "so how did you guys make up?" Millie almost laughed, "how did you know he even forgave me in the first place?"
"It's Finn," she says matter-of-factly, "that weirdo could never resist you," she shrugs.
Millie got even more confused, "anyways," she shakes her head, "where are we going again?" she changes the topic, because if she didn't, the other would surely brag more questions.
"To the airport, silly," she playfully slaps the back of her head, "We're having more public panels in New York for season three, remember? The rest of the cast are already waiting for us at the airport," she reminds.
The other's mood instantly changes, "is it a public airport?" Millie prays to God it isn't.
Sadie didn't understand why that was what she asked of all questions, but later realized why the girl is suddenly being anxious. "Yes," she sighs.
"Oh my God," Millie rubs her face with her palms. And then she hears nothing. She hears nothing but the deafening screams of the people in that airport. The loud insults that they're insensitively practically shoving towards her. All the "slut" and "whore" backlash for publicly dating someone at such a young age and not behaving how a teenager should behave. She feels nothing but the hands clutching on her arms and every other parts of her body that she had almost felt her bones breaking. Millie could still picture the amount of purple wounds she had that day, she had to wear extra makeup to cover them up. Millie feels nothing but the feeling she had felt in that moment. It stuck in her whole being now.
