Why Me?

Seulgi's POV
I wake up from my loud alarm that sings "WAKE UP!" By these young boys.. Stray Kids? Yeah that was the band.. Was the song called Awaken? Oh yeah, it was.
I get out of my bed and go to the bathroom. I brush my teeth, wash my face and comb my hair as usual.. I go to my little sister's room Joy and take a little peak if she's still asleep or not.
"Unnie I saw you!" Joy said and giggled. "We have to go to school Joy-ah. Dress up quickly." I said "Unnie it's 5 A.M." she said "oh well the earlier, the better, right?" I said making my voice seem 'cheerful'
"Unnie.." Joy says softly.
"Yeah?"
"Could you drive me to school with your car?" She asks so sweetly. How could I ever reject my little sister who asked me so nicely. "Yeah, but why?" I asked. "It's because they think I am broke" Joy said and I could hear that pain in her voice that broke my heart into million pieces. "Joy. No matter what people say you have to be strong." I took a breath "because you will end up destroying yourself like Unnie and Eomma. You know what happened to our Eomma right? She went crazy and couldn't take what people said to her" i explained. oh mom... How much I can relate. I tend to hide my feelings and how hurt I get whenever people say hurtful things about me. "I get it Seulgi unnie." joy said and I didn't realize all this time that the time was going by quickly. "Joy are you done with getting ready? It's time to go to school." I asked her one last time. "Yeah I am." she said and ran outside to my car and opened the door for me "Sooyoung-ah since when are you sweet to your unnie?" I asked her teasingly. "it's because you didn't reject my request." she said. I just nodded and drove to her school.
"Wow Sooyoung since when were you rich!?" Yeri came and asked Joy "She's rich because I work hard" I butted in the conversation of my little sister's and Yeri's. "S-Seulgi Unnie. I have never met you but Joy unnie talked about you once!!" Yeri said and I just smiled at her dumbly because I am awkward at conversations. "It's nice to meet you Kim Yerim." I said and she bowed to me politely "Unnie enoughhh" Joy said "It didn't ring yet, pabo." Yeri said "Well there are a lot of people who love pabo's right, yeri-ah?" joy said to yeri hitting her slightly. Mhhm what is that for a friendship. Haha I wish I even had a friendship to begin with. "You know I have a sister too Joy-ah maybe yours and mine could be best fwiends!" The way Yeri pronounced friends just seemed very cute to me. "Who's your sister Yeri-ah?" joy asked "Bae Joohyun. I mean we do have separate dads but now we only have a mom so that's not important now right? We're still blood related" Yeri said and smiled. "I've got to go. You know I have school too. I've really had fun talking to you Kim Yerim I really did and I hope you have fun in school, bye!" I yelled loud for yeri and joy to hear and drove to my school as fast as I could because I'm LATE. I was already and there and got out of my car. My school is 10 minutes away from Yeri's. I got out of my car and I am so dumb.. It didn't ring yet. Thank god. I walked into the school building and I saw my close friend Park Chaeyoung (Rosé) and her prank mate Park Chaeyoung... (twice) they're both such pranksters. It's actually annoying.
"Annyeongg" Said Rose.

"Hi" I said neutrally.
"How are you?" Rose
"I'm okay" I said
"Gee thanks for talking to me" Chaeyoung said sarcastically
"Sorry." is all I could say.

"ew kang seulgi what are you doing near my locker? get the fuck away OR ELSE-" jinyoung wanted to finish his sentence but he got stopped by the alarm "—you're lucky." he said.
I was shaking so bad. I hate getting bullied. I hate this so much.
I heard whispers.
“isn't she ugly?”
“Kang Seulgi is such a worthless fuck I'm glad she doesn't go to my class”

I got into my class so fast panicking. I let out a tear and heard laughter around me "YAH CRY BABY HAHAHA" Jennie laughed and came closer to me. "Jennie stop!" Rose pushed Jennie back. "You're being a bitch Chaengie." Jennie said "Why do you care about a worthless fuck like her" Jennie said. And I then couldn't believe what Rose said. "I don't care about her in fact I just care about you getting caught" she pushed Jennie more back and patted her shoulder. "O-ok." I said and sat next to my seat mate Mina "Mina I was wondering if-" just when I wanted to ask her something I was pushed by Mina "please don't talk to me. Just cause you're friends with my girlfriend Chaeyoung doesn't mean we are friends. Fuck off." Mina said.
"I have to go to the toilet Ms Lee" I said and ran out of the school. But when I was on the way out to the exit I saw a girl looking at me worriedly. She was beautiful wow. But I didn't realize I was crying a ton. I tripped on the stairs and injured my head. "O-OMG YOU'RE BLEEDING" the mysterious girl yelled "AISHT-" I was about to curse but stopped "No Shit Sherlock." I said and whined because I realized how much my head hurts now. "I'm sorry" I said crying "Wae?" she asked me with sympathy in her eyes. Wow somebody cares about me?I'm surprised. "I'm sorry for ruining your day. Now you've met the biggest fuck up ever" I said. "No no... What's your name?" she asked me. "Ah yeah I'm Seulgi... And you?"
"I'm Bae Joohyun. Aka Irene"
"that name is familiar I don't know what it means but yeah I've heard that name today.." I said thinking hard.. "Kim Yerim!" I said
"Oh that's my little sister." she said
"My little sister is Joy. Kang Joy. Or Sooyoung." I said.
"Ah nice to meet you Kang Seulgi." she said
"I'm a new student here."
"Really wow congrats Irene."
"I was wondering if people bully in this school?" she asked me.
"They do but they won't bully you."
"Huh?'
"Not with that pretty face of yours."
"What?"
"Bye irene it was nice to meet you"
"oh god we forgot about your head!"
Oh god... She's smart. I did forget about my head.
We both got out the school to the hospital. "I have a car" she said. "oh wow I don't care I do too" I said
"why me?"
"what irene?"
"why are you being so cold with me?"
"I'm a person like that. If you don't like it. Well I suggest you to exit out of my life." I said. Dont get me wrong I do really enjoy her company but I hate humans I hate people they hate me a lot "I hate people" I said under my breath and fell on my knees crying "but they don't hate me more than I hate myself." I said and cried even more "What's happened Seulgi-ah" she went on her knees as well and asked me and started to cry with me. "Life." I said and she just went up to hug me tight.
