Jaebum's POV
She opened the gate for me and I got in. "Wendy.. the rock can't move if you don't give it a swing, here let me have it a go" I said and got in. "Careful" she said and I nodded. I started the engine, drove a few miles back and then reached for the breaks just in case because I'm about to go very fast. I started going hella fast when I looked to the window and saw grass clean emptiness. "Oh my god it worked" Wendy yelled out and I smiled.
"You're welcome." I said.
"Don't get ahold of yourself Jae. You have a license. I don't" she said and I giggled.
I looked on my left and saw Tom. "All grown up. I remember seeing him when you guys first bought him." I said and smiled. "He was a gem." she said, "still is." I said.
"Now let's get out of here" I said.
"What?" she asked.
"Wendy you heard me. I said I'm getting you out of here so get in the car." I said.
"But there's no car!" she yelled, "there is." I responded. "No no jaebum not that car, that's my dads car you don't know what you're getting yourself into" she warned me but why didn't I really care? "Its just a car. I'll put it back to the same spot." I promised.
"Or I'm blaming you" she threatened me and I couldn't help but laugh. "Sure thing." I answered.
"Now let's get out of here" I said as I grabbed her hand. "But I have no keys?" she said. "Wendy it's your moms fault for threatening you like this. If she prioritizes the farm so much she wouldn't have taken the keys with her. Fuck it actually let the by passers or countrymen trash her house and farm. No one could care less" I responded to a stressed Wendy. I looked at her. "Come on" I said.
"Fine" she answered. We ran to her dads car. I started the car with a hairpin. "Wow your dads really smart for securing his car in the safest way possible" I said. "Scum" she said. "Indeed" I could only say. We both drove as fast as we could as the gate opened we left the area. "Finally" Wendy breathed out relieved to leave the prison-like home/farm. "Jaebum." She said. "Yeah?"
"Nothing forget it" she said and I shrugged it off. "Fasten your seatbelt and buckle up. We're about to have a long and fast journey" I said to her.
