~ Kellin's pov ~
I had just finished helping my mom unpacking the boxes into the house.
"Why don't you go out and get something to eat? I'll finish up here in the kitchen." She said.
"Alright, mom. Do you want anything?" I asked.
"No thank you, I'm not hungry." She said.
"Alright, I'm going to shower and change then I'll leave." I said. She nodded. I walked upstairs and into my room. I took a shower and got dressed in a pair of black skinny jeans, a Nirvana tee shirt, a pair of beat up converse, hair straight and a beanie. I stuck my phone in my pocket along with my wallet. I walked downstairs and heard my mom on the phone.
"I don't know, Jeuse. I know he's probably going to get bullied. I don't know. It's not my fault. I know. I can't move yet again until next year and Kellin knows this. Alright. Yeah. Bye." She said and hung up. Why would she be talking to my dad? I slipped out the door unnoticed. I started walking to find somewhere to eat. I walked into a McDonald's and walked to the line. A guy in front of me bumped into me because he was messing around with his friends.
"Sorry." He said and went back to messing around with his friends. Soon I got to the front of the line and ordered. I waited to the side playing a game on my phone. I felt eyes on me. I looked up and saw the boy that bumped into me. I smiled weakly and he smiled. I went back to playing a game.
"Order 22." The cashier said. I went over and grabbed my food and walked to a table. I sat down and started eating.
~ Vic's pov ~
I watched as the fairly attractive boy started eating.
"Vic, just go talk to him." My brother, Mike, said snapping me out of my thoughts.
"What? No. I'm fine." I said and went back to eating.
"Dude, come on. You've been staring at him since he got here. You really need to move on from that dick, Austin." He said.
"Austin may have been a dick, but he was a good boyfriend." I said defensively.
"Yeah, so good that he fucked Taylor." Jaime said. I growled at him.
"Dude, Jaime, that wasn't called for." Mike said. You see, Jaime hates when one of us gets hurt, he literally almost killed Austin when he caught him screwing Taylor Jardine. So, I'm pretty sure he's mad that i'm defending Austin.
"I'm sorry, but he asked for it." Jaime said. I sighed.
"You know what guys? I'm done. Okay? Austin is in the past. I am moving on." I said. Yeah, Austin is an ex and that's all he'll ever be. An ex. I'm moving on from him. I got up and threw my trash away and turned around bumping into the kid again making him spill his drink all over his shirt.
"Shit." He muttered.
"Sorry, my fault." I said. He threw his trash away.
"My shirt's ruined now." He sighed.
"I have an extra shirt in my bag if you want it." I said. He smiled at me and nodded. I grabbed my bag and followed him to the bathroom. I pulled the shirt out and handed it to him.
"Thanks." He said.
"No problem." I said zipping the bag back up. "So, I've never seen you around California before. What's your name?" I asked.
"Kellin." He said switching shirts out. I couldn't help but check him out when he took his shirt off.
"I'm Vic." I said.
"Nice to meet you. But I gotta go, thanks again for the shirt." he said before walking out and leaving.
~ Kellin's pov ~
I walked out of the bathroom and walked out of McDonald's and started walking home. When i got there my mom's car was gone. I sighed and walked inside and going up to my room. I changed into a pair of sweatpants and laid on my bed and started flipping through channels. I found Family Guy and clicked on it and started watching it. I yawned and started falling asleep when a loud crash sounded. Then I notice it started raining. I sighed.
"Guess no sleep for me tonight." I said to myself. But soon enough I had fallen asleep.
