Chapter 15

~ Kellin's pov~

"I like you, Kellin. I've been wanting to tell you for a while. But I know you're with Vic and everything like that. I respect that. I should've said something when I had the chance." He said. That took me by surprise.

"I appreciate your honesty, but I'm not leaving Vic. I'm sorry. No matter what Vic's put me through, I will never leave him. I love him." I said. He nodded.

"I understand that." He said. I nodded. Vic walked in with a doctor.

"Kellin, how are you feeling?" The doctor asked.

"I'm alright." I said.

"That's good. I'm just a bit surprised." He said.

"By what?" I asked.

"That you woke up so quickly." He said.

"Oh." I said.

"Yeah. Anyways, you'll be here for the next week." He said.

"Alright." I said.

"I'll be back in an hour." He said. I nodded. Vic moved the hair out of my face.

"Are you hungry?" He asked.

"Just a little bit." I said.

"Alright. I'll be back." He said. I nodded and he left. I looked at Craig.

"Do you want me to leave?" He asked.

"No, no. You can stay." I said. Tony and Jaime walked in.

"Hey, kiddo." Jaime said.

"Hey." I said.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I could be better." I said. He nodded.

"where's Vic?" He asked.

"He went to get me something to eat." I said.

"Alright." He said and sat beside me.

"Is my mom coming?" I asked.

"Vic called and she said she went on a business trip this morning." He said. I sighed.

"Of course." I said. He sighed.

"it'll be okay, kid." He said. I sighed.

"I have to get going." Craig said.

"Alright. I'll see you tomorrow." I said. He nodded and left. Tony looked over at me.

"Are you sure you're doing the right thing of being friends with him?" He asked.

"Tony, please don't talk about this." I said.

"No, Ronnie AND Craig have screwed all of us over." He said.

"Tony, right now is not the time to talk about this." Jaime said.

"Jaime, right now is the perfect time to talk about it." He said.

"Look, I'm friends with just Craig. Why does it matter so much?" I asked.

"Because, if Craig even tries to take you from Vic, all hell will break lose." He said. I sighed.

"He's not gonna take me from Vic." I said.

"You don't know that. Craig is a very sneaky guy." He said.

"Tony, can we talk about this another time?" I asked. He sighed and nodded. Vic walked in.

"What'd I miss?" He asked.

"Nothing." I said. He nodded. He handed the guys some food. I sat up carefully. He handed me mine and sat down and started eating his. I started eating. Jaime turned the tv on and put on American Horror Story.

~ Vic's pov~

Kellin had fallen asleep a little while after he ate. I looked at Tony and saw him in his thinking state.

"Tony, what's up with you?" I asked.

"Nothing. Just in thought." He said. I nodded. Jaime was just sitting there. I sighed.

"Thank god there's no school tomorrow." I said. They nodded. "Where's Mike?" I asked.

"Oh, he had to work." He said. I nodded. I yawned and saw the doctor walk in.

"He's asleep? Alright. When he wakes up, tell him to take one of these." He said handing me a bottle of pain meds. "It'll help with the pain." He said. I nodded.

"Alright. Thanks doc." I said. "Can they stay tonight?" I asked.

"Yes, just for tonight." He said. I nodded.

"Thank you." I said. He nodded and left. I looked at the guys. Jaime was texting away at his phone and Tony was playing a game. I sighed and played with Kellin's fingers.

"You know, Vic. You have a good guy on your hands." Tony said.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Kellin. He's a good guy. Vic, he's a great guy." He said.

"Thanks, Tony." I said.

"You're welcome." He said. I smiled and looked down at Kellin. My phone vibrated. I took my phone out of my pocket and saw Mike calling me. I picked up.

"Hello?" I asked. I got up and walked to the door.

"We got big problems, Vic. And I mean huge." He said.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"You will never believe who I just saw." He said.

"And who's that?" I asked.

"..." I widened my eyes.
